The Junction,Gangtok

great experience at this property. we stayed here for 3days. A very good hotel, nearer to MG Marg, their hospitality is best, rooms are neat and clean. hot water always available. food quality is very good at their restaurant. Wi-Fi service is good. staffs are well behaved. and specially manager is very co-operative with the guests. so highly recommend.

It's a nice neat n clean hotel surrounded by restaurants, shops, taxi stand and located within 5 minutes walking distance of M G road. The room 103 I was given was huge in size with TV, water heater, cupboard etc. The room had no balcony or view though and was road facing and was extremely noisy at nights because of vehicles moving all the time, sleeping at night was bit difficult.
Service was good and food was good too.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and worth the money spent.

Hotel is located at 10mins walking distance from mall road. Its clean with around 8 rooms in all. We were provided two rooms on 3rd floor. No lift though. But to my surprise, the rooms were big enough. Staff is extremely courteous & polite. Ready for any help. Power supply tripped late in the night. But staff was quick enough to take action. Bathrooms are clean. Had a nice stay. Highly recommended for family/couple travellers

Pros n cons
1. Junction is a good mid range hotel. The hotel staff was very decent and corporative.
2. Included breakfast is tasty and highly recommended. But the breakfast menu was limited to 6 items.
3. Dinner prices are bit high but less compared other nearby restaurants.
4. Also MG Marg and Lall Bazar are at walkable distance. Roads are very steep, will be difficult to walk if you have kids.
5. Taxi stand is 2 mins walk
6. Hotel doesn't have cloth drying facility. There is no proper places to dry clothes either in room or outside. It takes more than 2 days for them to dry in the room. Also carry extra pair of clothes.

We booked two Super Deluxe rooms and one Standard room. The Super deluxe rooms were very good but the standard room can be avoided.It is a small room with no natural light. Overall the service was exceptional. The way they treat guests is very good and the owners put in extra effort to make sure your stay is very good. We were 8 people and an infant. They were even cooking light food for the infant. I dont mind staying here again when i visit Gangtok next time. It is just 10 minutes away from MG road, that is another plus.

I'll go in systematic way-
Location- Walking distance 10 mins from MG marg
Food- good taste, hygiene and healthy.
Room size- size is little bit small but somehow it can be manageable..
Amenities-
Good service there would be one person available for ready to check in services as u arrived at hotel.
But,No room heater, (extra cost-300)
No complimentary mineral water.
Old model TV.
No scene views room available.

Good location, just near Ranka Taxi Stand, walking distance to MG road. Cooperative Staff. Super deluxe room was big, big windows, water too they give you in 5 litre cans, but linens were little shabby not very likable to sleep in.

Breakfast was okyish.
Good to stay.

Having a great experience with this hotel. The quality of the rooms is really nice. The staff's service and behaviour are also very good. I would recommend that you to try this hotel. One of the best hotels in Gangtok.
