Floret Hotel - Lachen

Hotel is very well located. You can get very good view of Kanchenjungha Range from its Terrace or from the Helipad. It is located just on the Helipad. Entry is from an iron Gate, which is the Entry Gate to Helipad. This Gate is kept under chain & pad lock. Key of the gate is available with the Hotel staff. Make a phone call to him, then he will open the Gate. Outside the Gate it is written, "This is a Government Property, any trespasser will be prosecuted". I don't know by making an entry to this Hotel, we are violating any law.
I stayed here for two nights. When I checked in TV was showing Nil Balance. After our request they put some money and TV channel started working. Next day after again it went blank due to low balance.
You may see some photos posted by Floret and claiming view from the window. all the windows are covered with bushed and bamboo tree.

Both the husband and wife ( Mr. Mukherjee and Mrs. Mukherjee) who run the business of floret are fraud. The hotel is absolutely with no maintenance and guests will not get minimum hygeine and comfort. I HAVE TO CANCEL MY STAY BY ONE DAY. I had booking for two days from 27th to 29th of September 2017. But have to cancel my second day stay. The kitchen is so dirty. I feared that we will have stomach upset. Moreover, Mr. MUKHERJEE is such a coward that he went away from the hotel when all the guests arrived. All the staffs of the hotel are ill mannered and lacks any form of responsibility. The hotel is full of insects ( spiders) and if any body wants I can share the photos.

Please avoid to stay in this particular hotel. No service is available - even the running Hot Water service is often not available. To have food you have to go outside the hotel and the quality of the food is not up to the mark. When I was there - one night the weather was too rough and it was raining. I have ordered food in the hotel and hotel staff forgot about the food. If you are travelling with your family then please avoid this Particular Hotel.

Awesome staff. Always available for service. Great food. Tea available anytime you ask for. Had a pleasant stay. 100% satisfied.

This hotel is worst hotel in lachen. It had no electricity supply. The hotel has no manager and Mrs Mukherjee will rarely pick up your call. If you'll ask for tea, you might get it next day. 9 other guests in hotel tried to talk to owners. The workers ran away from hotel. Please don't waste your money here.

Rooms are very Good, but Canteen service very poor. Dining room is good, but food very poor. I will give Zero rating for food. Reached at 9pm in a chilly night, but we were served Rice, very thin Dal, Soyabean curry, Papad. Roti not available. So requested them to serve Roti next day in lunch as I was not feeling well, but again served the same dish as previous night. Didn't had lunch. Very dissatisfied.

Very comfortable stay, neat rooms, very hygienic wash rooms, helpful staff, good food ( including packed breakfast before start of tour to Gurudongmar lake)
Had a chance to meet the owner Mr.Sanjoy Mukherjee, who is very friendly & took care of our needs.
My review is whatever I felt & experienced on the night of 7th June & Daytime of 8th June

Not worth the money we are paying. Room is ok ok, food is also ok. Plz do not waste ur money here.
