Golden Tashi Gakhil Resort

Worst hotel experience. They over charged for the stay. Their team made us stay at another hotel, after charging for the Golden Tashi. Moreover, we were passed on to talk to their team to solve problems with stay, instead of sorting among themselves. After our check out, their central team didn’t share the invoice with us. We were told that they are gonna share it next day via e-mail, instead our calls are being denied to give something as basic as invoice for our stay.

It’s really a shame how these hotels continue to operate. Taking advantage of poor tax paying people like us.

Only good note was - reception guy. He found it difficult to help us to invoice, as their central team is non-responsive.

The place is worth at the max Rs. 3000 per night. The manager Pankaj was not at all accommodative of any requests whatsoever. The chef and the support team were decent and that is why the 2 stars. I would highly advise to avoid this hotel. This is definitely not worth spending the money.

The beautiful view from the hotel room. Very hospitable staffs. Rooms are spacious clean and maintained well. Also having room heaters at extra charges. The western style washroom are having geysers. The in-house restaurant serves Vegetarian food. A Special mention for Ms Diksha who made our stay very comfortable.

Excellent Hospitality.. The stay was amazing - special thanks to the kitchen staff and Diksha for arranging everything to make the stay comfortable. The rooms and washroom were clean and tidy. The hotel has great view as well with friendly staff.

Amazing experience in Lachung and  Nice property Golden Tashi Gakhil Resort at such high altitude.

The kitchen staff is very nice..  the hotel has a nice view from the balcony. We stayed here for 3 nights, rooms are small but cosy, clean and tidy.

Extremely pleasant stay. Laudable hospitality from the staff. The food was very tasty - thanks to the chef who, by the way is physically challenged. The staff was also kind enough to pack us some food early in the morning upon request. Heating is a hidden cost (Rs.500). Definitely worth the money spent.

We had a really enjoyable time as a family. We stayed during the last week of October and the weather was perfect.
The receptionist Diksha was very polite and helpful.
The rest of the staff including the manager and the helpers were really helpful giving you a very personalised feel.
The rooms are small but very cosy and comfy. Kinda gives a vintage feel to it...
Would definitely stay here if we visit again.
