The property is beautiful and well maintained. Lots of greenery and open spaces. The staff is responsive and helpful. The food is also good although limited in variety. They also have a pool which is well maintained.

The room are very spacious but the air conditioning needs to be better. We had initially booked a royal suite but had to switch to a smaller room as the AC wasn't able to properly cool the room. The smaller room had better AC but it also wasn't fully satisfactory.

Palace is very well maintained and hygienic, restaurant ambience is so fresh and amazing. Our 2 day stay was really pleasant. Swimming pool had good water heating and depth was 3.5 ft to 4.5 ft.. kids really enjoyed a lot..

Few cons but not really something it should stop you for selecting this property for your stay:

1) Except bird sanctuary(2-3 hrs of sight seeing) and 1 Laxman temple (1 hrs max.) and Lohagarh Fort/Museum (2 hrs max) which all can be covered in 1 day. there is not much to go out.. so plan it if you want tk stay in property and enjoy the time with family.

2) Food quality was good but not much options (mostly North Indian) hence it gets boring to order same food next day.

3) Room service was very limited, although we got room service as we cited we had a 4 months old baby and cant come frequent to dining hall for lunch and snacks..

Best hotel in Bharatpur n very helpful staffs. Only issue is sanctuary is bit far from property n you have to depend on pre-booked autos if you dont have your own vehicle.
Hotel as per ambience n food is par excellence to any 5 star hotel... in affordable rates.

Very beautiful heritage, modernised hotel. Gardens are a treat to watch. Beautifully manicured with blooming flowers and plants.
The spaciousness is a plus.
However a touch up on some places is needed. Peeling paint outside may be taken care as now the rains are over.

Starting on a positive note, we loved the property and architecture of this heritage hotel. However, the main person at reception was extremely rude and cold. There were 2 groups staying with them and he seemed to pay no attention to people who were there for 1 room stay. we felt like uninvited guests. No welcome drink/ even plain water. We arrived at 3 and had prior informed regarding our intention to have lunch, still it was served at 4:30 and that too with a lot of attitude as if they were doing a big favour. Also, there were very limited food options for children. No room service inspite of repetitive requests on behalf of child.

It was a very poor experience. Staff was very rude and misbehaved. Pathetic and deteriorating services as there was no hot water available in washrooms and when we were calling the staff no one at reception pickup the call and responded back. Food quality was also not good. Laxmi villas- the palace ambience is good but the hotel staff is uneducated, arrogant and do not know how to behave with expats. Place is not recommended at all.

seriously overhyped! everything is so unkept as though no one cares!
the staff too isn't very caring and warm... average food
don't think would stay here again...
my child was unwell, had high fever, had requested for a 'warm' room and they allotted us one in the terrace! i guess this says it all!
