Everything is very well planned and managed.Small establishment with great soft spoken staff. They have best folk singers/Puppet show/dancers to provide a great evening one is looking for in Jaiselmer.
Lovely morning sunrise view with peacocks roaming around establishments. Clean and well managed tent’s.

Top Notch Experience. Amazing staff- Super warm, always eager and happy to help. We travelled with our toddlers and parents and they took care of smallest of things. The tents were ideally located away from the main road, were super clean and aesthetically decorated. The food quality was great too- very simple homely food just as we wanted. Everything from jeep safari, camel safari to cultural program was very well organized. Will gladly choose them again in the future.

This is a smaller camp by Jaisalmer standard. They only have 10 tent which makes it a very cozy and intimate place.
The manager, Mr Prithvi Singh, helped us make the booking online and was at hand during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed.
The evening entertainment was the best we had seen in Rajasthan. The singers were excellent and the dances were very graceful and traditional. The food was great and the chef personally made sure to make it as per our liking.
The camp sits a bit away from Sam dunes and the associated crowds and noise. The sand dune safari is to an area with very few tourist and hence you are able to enjoy and capture the sunset without people blocking your views.
Overall, a great place to spend a night in desert

Awesome Awesome Awesome, it was such a beautiful experience. Loved everything - the Swiss tents, yummy food and above all service with a smile. Cultural program was outstanding- don't wish to give details as it will spoil the fun. Everyone treated us like King. We were a group of 7 friends and have already started planning for next at Damodra Camp with families. Prithvi Singh ji takes personal care and attention. You see attention to details. We are coming back again next year!!

The Owner ,to the staffs all are so caring and prioritise the customers needs.
Right from our arrival to our drop, we had a great experience. Comfort, safety, hygine, food, entertainment everything deserves a 5 star. Highly recommended, a must visit. We had a kid , they even considered all his food needs and served him what ever he asked for, that's the kind of service they provide. Their ambience and quality of services and food is great.

I've been to many desert camps in the region in the past few years, but this camp is by far the best one I have experienced.

It's a cute little camp located away from the chaos of the city, overly crowded Sam & the busy highway. It's completely hidden in the beautiful landscapes providing a perfect getaway experience to its guests.

The tents are pitched around the well planned permanent restaurant, reception & entertainment gallery. The interiors of the tents are really clean, simple and elegant. I just loved the discipline and uniformity they have maintained in each tent. Bathroom design was another highlight of this place, it had a good collection of toiletries & the bathwares were of top notch quality.

The service was lovely, they go lengths to provide comfort to their guests. Be it be at restaurant or housekeeping or guided tour they always put guest priority first. The smiling attitude of the staff will make you delighted.

I had evening high tea, dinner & breakfast here. Food was delicious and had a lot of vegetarian options. Dinner & breakfast buffet was sumptuous & the variety was good.

Cultural program in the evening is quite different from the format other resorts follow in the area. I felt it was much closer to the Rajasthani Tradition and the presentation was much more tuned. They have a special presentation of Rajasthani Puppet Show which is really entertaining if you are with a kid.

The resort is pet friendly and you can witness many peacocks roaming freely around cottages. They also have 2 lovely dogs which host guests with a lot of affection. Kids can find bunny to pet and feed carrots. The sunset view from this resort is really mesmerizing.

Overall, if you are looking for perfect desert camp experience, I highly recommend this resort.

5 stars are not enough for the experience we had here. This is a late review. We stayed at Damodra for 2 nights in December 2021 as part of our honeymoon. We have had absolutely no complaints about the food, the tents, the service, and the staff. Everything was well taken care of and of the highest quality. The staff especially made our stay memorable - each and every one of them, including Prithvi ji, the owner. The stargazing arrangements were remarkable. Also enjoyed the live classical music in the evening. Since then we have recommended Damodra to many of our friends. Cannot wait to be back! :)
