Hotel Royal Haveli

I was so impressed with the Royal Haveli Hotel. The service was impeccable. I wanted to go out into the desert for a night and stay at a camp. So, they organised everything for me and drove me out there and picked me up the next day. The hotel itself is so beautiful all carved out of stone. I’ve never seen anything like it before, I was amazed. The food at the rooftop restaurant was tasty and plentiful. Whatever I needed help with they were more than happy to help with. The location was the best as I could walk to the fort and the markets being close by.

Great location easy walking distance to the fort and nearby narrow streets to explore. Staff super attentive and friendly. Love the look of the hotel. Very happy to stay here again should I come to Jaisalmer.

One of the best places you could get to stay in Jaisalmer. I loved Jaisalmer because of its people, food and its architecture. The hospitality that we received here has no words to express. I am just grateful to have found this place. They have an amazing desert safari site. You get to do camel ride, desert bike and night safari. Special mention to Abdul bhai for the care and effort he took to make us feel comfortable. We requested for a photoshoot in the desert but no photographer was available, but Abdul bhai generously came along with us and took some great photos. That’s the distance they go to make their guests happy.

perfect location , rooms are big , the window sit outs ( jharokhas) in the room are really nice. we got the top most room so we had access to the rooftop anytime which was awesome( others can access too but they have to climb upstairs for that ;)) . lovely views of the golden fort from the terrace . the staff is well behaved and helpful . location is perfect , walking distance from the fort .

Its one of the best hotel near the Fort. We stayed here for the second time and got same experience. Its location is its best part. Fort is on a walking distance, main road is just 100 meters away and you get stunning views from the roof. Best hotel foer stay

The service of the hotel especially at the time of breakfast was pathetic. While we were waiting for the breakfast the staff was busy having their own breakfast in the kitchen. The owner had the guts to ask one of the customer in front of us that if they don’t like the parathas why don’t they go in the kitchen and make it.

Absolutely do not take their package for Sam as their property is located in a very remote place and very difficult to locate.

The rooms are also not very clean with absolutely zero ventilation in the bathroom.

The only good thing about the hotel is the dinner. The gate ki subji was amazing and a must have.

The dining hall is good but they sitting bed were not clean. It is always better to stick food which is local over there and avoid ordering food like Chinese. The fort view is awesome from dining hall. Hospitality is good and concerns were resolved quickly however receptionist tried to become over friendly which is quite uncomfortable. Our stay was a huge disappointment. The bed linens looked dirty and didn't smell fresh and the alternative provided were also similar. There were no storage wardrobes so unpacking was quite difficult. There was no tea/coffee kit with kettle in the room which would have helped considering it was winters. The corridors were noisy. The hotel staff didn't have uniforms considering it is branded as a 3 star hotel.

We had included breakfast with our stay but there was no buffet breakfast and we had to order from a limited menu of 4 items like Paratha, eggs, toast and poha. The roof top restaurant attached to the hotel is not professional and looks like a home kitchen.

We paid a handsome amount of 14k for 2 nights and expected at least basic amenities in the hotel. We were lured by all the positive reviews posted on Google and other websites while it was quite the opposite. Not recommended.
