The Artist House, Udaipur

It was overall great experience indeed.
We had a team party there and everyone had fun. Starters were good in taste however main course taste can be improved like Dal Makhni could be more cooked and rich also Paneer could’ve been improved in preparation. Rest was good. DJ was good, just a suggestion that in the background please play the same song’s video instead of some other channels song and ads, it will enhance the experience of party folks.

Every corner of this property is a treat for all the art lovers. The staff is highly professional, friendly, courteous and polite. They’ll make sure your trip is a memorable one. We went here for an all girls trips, therefore a little sceptical considering Udaipur in general, but the owner and staff made sure we feel safe and secure. Thankyou for an amazing time team 💃🏻

First of all the artist house is not a hotel. Its a pure club where you cannot stay with your family or with your kids. The endless loud music till 1 to 2 AM in morning will not let you sleep for sure. Their poor room service will even not let you eat properly within your rooms. Room condition are so pathetic that you will regret paying such a hafty amount for it. The receptionist was behaving so rude that she doesn't even know that how to speak with the customers. It was really poor experience within this hotel. Their swimming pool is even not working from past 6 months. I mean they will totally spoil your whole hotel staying experience. Its a big big big NO from my side for this piece of garbage.

Good:
Fantastic Night Club With Great DJ, Sound, Vibe, etc. If you go for party you will have fun.
Food is excellent too.

Bad:
FAKE ALCOHOL! I drank 8000 Rs worth of alcohol Alone and was still not drunk. Or even have a good enough effect.
Below average rooms to stay in.

I think its a perfect place for 2-3 hours of partying if you are already tipsy and dont rely on their fake and crazy expensive drinks.

If you are visiting Udaipur, this is the place one should stay in, considering easier access to the market and younger crowd makes the place lively. Great Location. Absolutely fantastic food. Indian, Pizzas, Chinese - it was simply the best food we had all across Udaipur. The rooms appear a bit worn but are well appointed. Efficient service. The DJ, music and the party every evening was awesome. Simple people taking care of every little requirement that we had. While I cannot rate it anything less than 5 star, if i were to nitpick, it would have to be the breakfast - it could have been a little more elaborate. And lastly, a provision for a lift to get to the first floor may help if we want to bring our parents for visit here. The climb can be a bit difficult for aged people. But all in all, a fantastic experience.

Choosing to stay at The Artist House, is the worst decision you’ll make for your trip in Udaipur.

Various reviews have already spoken - but let me re-iterate about the horribly loud music that won’t let you sleep, poor plumbing, poor security, awful food/breakfast - and most of all, absolutely woeful service. The hotel didn’t even bother with towels or toiletries for the rooms.

The people you meet - the receptionist, the room-service person, the food server - everyone was terrible to interact with, they couldn’t care less about the customer service. The hotel it seems is run by a bunch of amateur with zero interest in the hospitality business.

Don’t let the fancy photos fool you, this place is a sham. If only they’d have spend the photoshoot money and fake-review money on actual service and people, it could have been so much better.

Right now, it acts, behaves and feels like a really bad, cheap motel. There’s literally nothing good, no redeeming factor about this “hotel” . It’s a pathetic excuse for a hotel.

Absolutely wouldn’t recommend, not even to my worst enemy

Visited Udaipur for the first time , stayed in the most fanciest of hotels near the lake ! Then decided to stay in the city centre and found this super chic hotel - The artist House ! The moment i saw the property i was just blown away by the aesthetics of the place ! It such a beautiful place , has a bar / club on the ground floor ! The staff was courteous had ample knowledge about the what and where of city . I personally feel its an underrated place / hidden gem in the city . I was offered a decent price , the room size is pretty decent with spik n clean washroom’s . Also would like to mention About Mr Geet GM of the property, a very dynamic and charming personality , met him at the bar of the hotel . Wonderful guy and great hospitality . If you visit Udaipur and Do not want to spend bomb on the luxurious hotel’s i recommend try this boutique hotel this place has a very different vibe for chilling.
