GoSTOPS Udaipur

the hostel is decently maintained, the rooms and washrooms are clean. They don't provide locks to lock your bags plus the lockers that they've provided are really small to fit a bag. I had a bad experience due to the management of the hostel. as a solo female traveler I have felt unsafe in the hostel because of their own staff. So even if the view was great and the hostel was clean I would not like to go back or recommend this place to anyone.
The staff behaviour was bad. The main guy or manager kept following me wherever I went. Creepiness was slipping in the way that guy was talking. it has just made me feel unsafe there. Extremely BAD experience.

One of the beat places i have visited and stayed. It was my 1st ever stay with gostops and really i would love to travel in other destinations in india and love to stay with them. I must say i really had a very good experience in Udaipur. People here are helpful.
There was this guy named Bharat, i would add one of the best hospitality by this guy. Kitchen was closed and still he went out of the box to get me tea in mid night. These small Gestures made us connected with these people. 👍👍 keep it up and you guys are doing wonders.

I had been to GoStops Udaipur recently. Amazing location in the middle of the city. The staff is very cooperative and helps as much as they can. It's safe for women travellers. I chose a women's dorm and it was very clean and the beds were comfortable too. The common area steals the show, as by merely sitting there and looking at the lake is magical. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Udaipur in future.

Good ambience at common area, you can spend time there in late night too. View from there is good, you can see some part of lake pichola and gangaur ghat from there. Bathrooms are good. They also have small cafeteria from where you can get breakfast easily. Sight seeing places inside city are nearby from hotel. Supportive staff, they will help for everything you want to know. Overall, great experience.

As always, GoStops is the place to stay on a vacation. Well maintained rooms and property, located in the prime location (walking distance to most tourist spots). Common area is on the rooftop which has a spectacular lake view and has foosball, Tv and a cafeteria. Helpful staff and easy check-in/check out process. Recommended for a nice budget stay.

Gostops Udaipur provides you amazing and memorable experience. Staff is very polite and friendly. Clean premises, 24*7 service, location is perfect just in center of old city, local transport is easily accessible from here. It has its own vibes, we spend whole night at roof top common area as it feels like home, so comfy and amazing. Would love to be there again♥️

Comfy beds and clean facilities! Chill aesthetics and ideal for solo travellers or even great if you're traveling in group.

Wish it could also provide following options:
1. Serve fresh food options rather than ready-to-cook menu.
2. Option to buy toiletries.

The rooftop view is really nice. The common area and dining hall is picturesque. The only issue faced was carrying the luggage up and down the steep staircase.
