Hotel Grand Park

Great place for dine in. Not the best if you want to stay. The food preparation is amazing with freshly served food. However, once I went to enquire for hotel rooms for some guests but the manager at the time was pretty non cooperative and they weren’t even interested in showing the rooms. The staff was the same when we visited the second floor.

Very good location, in the main market and walking distance from Thapar Institute of Engineering. Big spacious rooms and very neat and clean. Helpful and courteous staff. Two things need attention..decor and ambiance..it is very basic and second food..they have a kitchen but timings are odd and prices of food very high.

Rest it was a very pleasant experience.

Extremely poor service and room maintenance. We checked in after advance booking and expected the room ready. We found that all the switchboards near the TV were out of order and we wanted to watch India vs South Africa world cup match. I reported the matter to the reception. It took nearly 2 hours to the fix the problem after which we found the set top box was also not active due to non payment. By this time the match was already over. Only 1 man for all the task is available in the hotel who took another 1 hour just to replace set top box from some other room. People stay in hotel for comfort and not to face all this.

Excellent location and very nice and helpful staff..neat and clean and big rooms...only turn off is that there is no regular restaurant..they have a kitchen though..must try

Not so clean hotel. Need improvement

A good hotel at the prime location in the city. Easily assessable and in the centre of all famous showrooms and restaurants which are not more that 500 meters on either side.
The area is neat and clean. The famous 22 No. Fatak is at walking distance...
In case of emergency, the city's famous hospital 'Columbia Asia' is just a minute away...
Situated on the main road, noise pollution especially the sounds of horn, is a problem but not the big as the hotel is well insulated.
Overall good hotel and staff

Take this hotel only if your kids are in thapar.room size is good with all basic amenities but no kitchen,no soft drinks,no good breakfast,no reception phone pickup,no safe parking
Both managers navdeep n harpreet are polite n helpfull.location is the only good thing of this hotel
