Hotel Golden Palm

This was my second visit to Hotel Golden Palm. First time I booked premium room and got good service, however this time I booked Deluxe room and realised that there is a lot of discrimination that hotel does for guests staying in deluxe rooms compared to the ones staying in premium rooms at new building. Appearance-wise rooms were okay but no amenities were provided. The intercom landline provided in the room was dead, geyser was not working, TV was not working and the bathroom lock was out of order. We requested at reception in the old building to get these issues resolved. Everytime they sent a staff named Ravi, who behaved like he is trying to solve the issue but after 5 min he said sorry for each issue and left. Nothing was resolved. When we complained for geyser as hot water was much required in the morning, hotel gave us half bucket of hot water from outside and asked to manage.
Before checkout, I asked for laundry bag at old building reception where the guy present at the front desk (don't know the name) asked me to go to the new building reception and collect it from there. Such an irresponsibe staff! I never had such pathetic experience in any hotel whether it's a small budget of expensive hotel.
Although it is one of the good hotel in this area, I will never recommend this to anyone. Seems like this hotel dedicated only to IDP Education India Pvt. Ltd. for conducting exams and it has nothing to do with customer service.

I have visited the place more than 5 times. Last visit ruined all my experience for the place. I ordered three dishes , one came after 45 minutes( reason they cooked some other dish) , non veg pasta came without chicken. Dont ever order cocktails , taste isnt upto mark as per the prices. Also in a fine dine you dont expect dirty chairs and broken plates. A lot to work on for you guys.

No wheel chair facility, No ramp to enter the reception for physically challenged or old age. Trap door of ceiling was open.. No room service for breakfast, No buffet system. Only good thing is the interiors and good staff...

I visited recently. Hotel situated near Gurdaspur Bypass Road Punjab Towards Pathankot.

The room was not cleaned at the time of check-in.
Service was too slow. You have to give multiple reminders for everything.

Food was good but there were not so many options available for breakfast and dinner.

Hotel owner should improve more services and foods options here.

Rest experience was good but no upto Mark's at there fare prices

Location is perfect, built is wonderful, Food is amazing (breakfast is just wow). We booked the best (Presidential Suite Room) and its concept was wonderful however the blanket, pillows, bedsheets and back of bed for (head rest) were stinking alot with lot of bees in room and bee-repellent was also not available in hotel and instead a helper sprayed room freshener when asked for repellent.

The place was great well Maintained and the decorations were also fascinating. Over them all the food was the best each and every thing say the curries th snacks were just awesome.

ielts speaking test held in the Hotel. Supportive staff with helpful nature. My sister gave the exam of speaking on the venue Hotel golden palm.

Nice location as it's away from the proper city. Staff was courteous. Service was good.
