Ranjit's Svaasa

I had a truly amazing stay. The heritage mansion dates back to the British colonial time and the decoration made me feel like I was living in a place from back then. In every corner there are beautiful old-style sofas, chairs and tables. The staff was very attentive and warm. They welcomed me with tea and pastries, and a basket full of snacks in my room. They brought good night chocolates and gave me a home-made soap and a Sikh metal bracelet. The breakfast buffet and dinner were abundant and delicious. The organic smoothies, in particular, were amazing especially the cleansing greens. All in all, I had a wonderful time. Many thanks to the hotel staff for making this experience awesome!

The hotel is absolutely charming!! we stayed in an heritage bedroom (luxury room), beautifully furnished & a reasonable price. Very calm!!
The city is a great discovery, we fell in love with the Golden Temple, it's a must see, very moving moment, don't forget to eat there & clean the dishes to live the 'incredible india' ballet!!
Our second best souvenir is the wonderful and caring team, run by Deepak. Felt like home.

Had to switch rooms due to brocken bathroom fixtures, Problem was quickly and efficiently solved by Staff. Very friendly, forthcoming breakfast and room staff. Rooms beautiful decorated in old world antiques. House is over 250ys old. A OASIS of calm in hectic Amritsar off Mall Road.

Hotel like a museum, very nice rooms, beautiful furniture and architecture. Food really expensive - consider to eat in the city.

I was honestly hesitant because several historic b&b’s I’ve stayed at through India were severely run down. Ranjit’s Svaasa was not. It is loved, the rooms are beautiful and this really felt like a home away from home. The staff are so attentive and the spa treatment really fantastic. Beautiful breakfast and dinner as well (I didn’t have lunch here unfortunately). Highly recommended. Small note - a little plunge pool would make this a truly exceptional property!

Ranjit’s Svaasa is a very beautiful and, more importantly, cozy B&B in Amritsar.

Service was excellent and we really felt like we were taken cared of by all the staff in the hotel. The rooms were very big and spacious and the property is a piece of art in and of itself. The place has its own distinct character and is amazing for taking pictures. The rooftop garden is where you want to be during the sunrise.

The food for breakfast was a bit limited in variety, however each dish was authentic Punjabi food which tasted amazing.

I can’t say much else as we had such an amazing stay with them and I personally would recommend this B&B to anyone coming to Amritsar.
