Hotel SB Residency

The receptionist is not good at all. His behaviour is rude. We booked a room with 2 windows online. But we were given a room with no windows. The washroom is also very small. There is no elevator so we had to use stairs to go to the 3rd floor.

The location is good as it is 5 minutes walking distance from the golden temple and langar hall.

Stayed here during Amritsar visit.

The hotel is located in a crowded place with access till gate provided by e-autos only. Golden temple, Jallianwala Bagh are all at walking distance from the hotel and ample amount of restuarants located close by.

The hotel staff were hospitable, humble and provided great services. They even allowed us to checkout 1 hr after the checkout time, without charging any fee.

Would definitely recommend if anyone is looking for an economical hotel.

Very good stay in three bed family room. Manager Kuldeep Offered good guidance & arrange sight seeing economically. Very near to Golden temple. Electric rickshaws are more useful during busy Market time. Golden temple is very near, no need of rickshaws.

The rooms were good and comfortable to stay at. The manager Kuldeep was helpful from the beginning of our stay. The hotel do arrange cab facilities as well. It is located inside a market lane due to which the cabs cannot be taken inside however the location is very suitable if you want something nearby to The Golden temple. The hotel staffs were very helpful and efficient as well. Inshort it is worth the money spent.

Hotel is newly renovated. Nice and clean. Helpful staff. Right in the center of market. Only con is it is far from Jallianwalan market. If u r with 65+yrs parents this may prove far from jallianwalan market but close it is ok for Golden temple. You can go from back route of Golden Temple. Also, if u r coming by auto from Railway station auto walah may drop u to Jallianwalan market saying police wont allow further. I paid rs100 back to railway station from hotel while going back.

It's a good hotel with value for money. It is very close to Golden Temple and Jaliwalabag. One can also do local shopping here. The only thing was congested road but hotel staff cooperative behaviour compensates everything.

There is No Lift in the Property, so if you're traveling with family/kids/infants, please avoid booking this property.. The Hotel Owner was very rude and selfish when we requested for Heater in the room as the weather was too cold. But he denied to provide even with charges. Rooms were small, but clean.
