Hotel Pride

The hotel was excellent for us. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is located very close to dhabas, a chemist and a grocery store. The hotel staff allowed us to use the refrigerator to store dairy products we bought. We had a window but it didn't have an insect screen installed so we didn't open it all the time. The shower was good but there was hot water only in the morning and not in the evening. The price was quite fair.

You must visit this hotel if you want to experience how worst can be the service at a hotel.

If you want to ask for even the basic things like towel, shampoo and glasses.

They say you get hot water from 07:30 am till evening but the thing is the hot water supply is so scrace that you get proper hot water only if you bath early till 8am else later than that you will get only normal water. Then you will have to call the reception and they will send you a bucket of hot water.

There was this strange rule at this hotel that the kitchen closes at 10:15 pm and the hotel staff will not be available after that time. If you reach there or checkout after 10:15 pm then you need to carry your luggage yourself.

The A.C.s are broken in almost all the rooms. Though they work but will work on a fix temperature. The fan switch works in opposite way.

You will find only one plug socket in the room on one side of the bed so you will have to charge your phones and earpods one by one.

However the interesting thing is that they provide you 2 plug sockets in the bathroom. Now I don't know the logic behind it but I think the architect or the designer or the main person of this property might be the one who would be spending hours in the bathroom rather then in the room. I don't know the reason but this is just a guess.

Best part of staying in Hotel Pride is its location. Only 10-15 minutes drive from Sukhna Lake and Bird Park, Chandigarh. Service is exceptional. Food is also good. Nice place for families, looking for comfortable stay.

In d name of amenities you will get only Wi-Fi... nothing else... no complementary water bottles no electric kettle which are basics in any hotel... Even for hot water in the bathroom you have to wait for few minutes n flow was also very thin... In prebooked breakfast option also you have to choose only one item forget about buffet... For fresh towels you have to remind them every single time... No housekeeping service in the 2nd half..
Not very great... Except behaviour of few staffs nothing is good... You will get better options in this price...

It is an amazing place to spend your time if you are little short on budget but want to stay close to chandigarh or have some work in Chandigarh. The hotel service is good and the staff is polite too. There is no traffic noises here.

Not a good place if you are planning for longer or comfortable stay. The ratings given are ridiculous. I booked a standard room and it's a mistake if you are going by the fare. The room is extremely small with no windows or ventilation. It's location is apt if you are planning to stay for a day and visit Rock garden and Sukhna lake which are close. i booked a standard room based on my 1 day stay at Chandigarh. The room is extremely small and has no windows. It's a 10x10 and barely has any space. Hotel location is near Rock garden and Sukhna lake. Staff is polite and helpful. They don't have a restaurant but serve food in the room. One bad thing is they charge separate for heater and have configured the AC in such a way that you can't use it at higher temperature. Overall, I won't recommend this hotel for family stays or if you are planning for longer stay.Room was extremely small and cramped.

Nice and safe stay with family. Team was warm in welcoming and their service was good. Their masala chai was excellent and my favourite.
Restrooms were clean. Overall a peaceful stay and we have a small local market nearby to have choti shopping...
