Treebo Trend South Avenue - Hotel in Pondicherry

Hotel South Avenue is located exactly opposite to Pondicherry railway station. Hence all the places are easily accessible from there. Rock beach and pondy marina beach is just within a Km radius. Since the hotel is situated on road, they have rented a parking space in railway station premise but it's safe and secured. Their in house hotel has tasty food at nominal price. Their complimentary breakfast was good with limited dishes. Service was good with a handful of resources. Book their deluxe rooms or suites to enjoy a good/large room. Their deluxe room has a living space and a bedroom along with two air conditioners. Property has lift and they will also arrange sight seeing facility on request. Overall it was a good stay for the price they offer. Must try.

We stayed for one day, hotel was neat and clean, first we directly checked in and asked for tariff, family room cost 4400₹ and individual room cost 2200₹, we booked through treebo booking centre which cost 3600₹ for two individual rooms. Room maintained clean and hygienic, they won’t provide soap, past like accessories, they provide two towels only but that also not clean. Nice place for family stay. They using railway car parking which is opposite to hotel for there hotel parking and they will give token for it.

Very well maintained room. The restaurant does not have all the items in the menu. However the food is tasty. The location is the greatest advantage being close to railway station, Rock beach, aurobindo ashram, museum etc

Paid 3k per day looking at the google photos which is not worth the value. The rooms are worth 1.5k to 2k max. The rooms are decently sized but damp and smelly. Towels were perhaps bought 10 years back and dont seem fresh. Food is decent and the location is great and very near to eden beach and french colony.

Worst Horrible Experience ! Money Extorting Tugs !

Horrible Unacceptable Experience! I'm not sure why Treebo has degraded itself to this level. We chose this hotel room, which adversely affected the tone of the entire trip.
Do not go by the positive reviews posted on Google or any other platforms; they are fraudulent.

Due to a stained bed sheet, the manager made a scene. He wouldn't let us leave until we pay him 1,500/- during checkout. There was no bill produced for the services we were charged for, and they acted like money-extorting goons.

I'm not sure how he was hired given that he doesn't even understand the basics of communication. Definitely not a manager, just a goon that demands money, in my opinion.

It doesn't even deserve half of a star. I strongly advise against staying her

Worst worst. Zero value of your money. Front desk is not supportive. Road side rooms are okay okay, but never stay in back side rooms.
You will feel unsafe due to the window. I paid approx 11.5k for 1 night and even the washroom shower was not working. Never stay here until you have any severe emergency.

Rooms are decent, food is good, staffs are cooperating.They have outsoursed the car parking in the railways station which is situated opposite to this hotel, which is bit awkward but safe to park. Sea beach is around 700 m away and very much walkable. Overall its a value for money hotel.

We have booked this place from Agoda. the location of the hotel is pretty much close to White Town or French colony. it is just opposite Pondicherry railway station. It is very close to the Rock beach which is one of the happening places in Pondicherry.
it's hardly a 10 minute walk. Also the white town is just walking distance away so it's worth staying if you want to roam around in this area.
The rooms were clean and the toilets were good.
There were some problems with mosquitos and cockroaches but the hotel provided mosquito repellent.
hotel staff is very polite and cooperative room service was good they have a decent complementary breakfast but with limited time of 7:30 -9 30 a.m.
All together a worth staying in 2.5k (Deluxe double room) per day with complementary breakfast for two.
