Overall my stay with family was ok. I like to give pros and cons of this hotel.
Pros
1) Location is on highway away for city but not far also. 2) Ample area for parking vehicle. 3) all top floor Rooms are having open corridor having beautiful view. 4) Reception staff was courteous.
5) Restaurant food is good and tasty. Cons are written below.
Cons
1) Hotel is having a marriage hall just infront which makes so much party noise during night time if it is booked. Maybe during my 2 days stay I feel this problem as my 1 yr old son not getting good sleep due to this at night time. Before booking kindly ensure this.
2) Executive Rooms are spacious but cleanliness may improved in rooms as well as in bathroom. AC working fine. Bathroom exhaust was not working complaint but not changed till check out.
3) Due to less room booking no Buffy breakfast was available. Also only 2-3 options only were available everyday. Have an argument about this in reception although they listen humbly and committed for improvement but I check-out before seeing there improvement.
Overall for the price they are charging improvements can be done.

Average quality. Don't expect much here as it is a budget hotel. Ample parking space. Location and property is very good.

Your reception staff Mr. Behera is very confused with rates.. Please provide him Hotel management training and then ask him to deal with customer..
I was about to stay there and had a very decent discussion with him but he simply emphasize his different statements and simply loses a consistent customer
If it would have a negative rating, I would give -5 ..

Located outside the main town making it difficult to commute and work. May be suitable for lovebirds who needs extra privacy and those who likes to be remain secluded. Service and amenities are good.

For marriage funtion, it was selected by us, it is quiet proper place.....there is sufficient place also for parking vechiles also

It was 1 day trip but it was worth staying at this hotel. Highly recommend to all. The food, the ambience and everything is friendly. Staffs behavior is polite. Must visit and must stay .... really a big thank you to the entire team of this hotel.

Royal Retreat is a great place for wedding and large events. With good set of rooms, halls and 2 big lawns, you can arrange any kind of event here. This was my first time in Sambalpur and was really surprised to see such a huge place with a brilliant spread of options from location, arrangment and restaurant perspective.

the lift has to be slowest ever lift I've been in, cloth hangers inside washroom can break very easily, if you are planning on asking for extra mattresses for a room, they don't have extra pillows and getting extra blankets is a struggle. water isn't free here so you've to either pay or bring your own. Specially a catastrophe if are also dealing with DALMIA FAMILY (SAMBALPUR) along with all this :)
