Hotel New Shankar International

location of the hotel was very good, it is just 1 min walk from the sea beach and only 1.5km from station. One thing I want to highlight is better not to book the room with complimentary breakfast. the options of the breakfast is very much limited. We were total 11 people including 3 children. Kitchen boy and hotel receptionist were saying that in complimentary breakfast only 1 plate is free for 1 person which contains 4 puri and sabji or 4 bread butter toast or 1 plate sandwich or 1 plate bread omlette. after that we have to pay for extra which is strictly opposite to what complimentary breakfast means. I escalated the issue and after that manager agreed to provide extra items at no cost. Service of the hotel was little bit slow. Food is also very tasty

It was a nice experience. The view of sea from the room was awesome. Cleanliness was maintained and the room was spacious with a balcony. The hotel has a restaurant and food ordered tasted well and is available at reasonable price. Beach is just a 2-3 mins walk away and one can enjoy the sea view from windows and balcony.

Very close to beach. Good atmosphere. Price also reasonable. Cleaning staff available. Some people in staff are little rude and don't adjust with checkout timings even little bit. Washroom tiles were stained and immediately needs to be cleaned properly with acid, feels unhygienic. Overall good to go.

As per price/day/room - rooms were spacious but not cleaned and maintained well, specially bathroom 1 out of 5.
Only plus point is its very nearer and closer to see beach, just 100 meter from backside of hotel.
Restaurant owner is little bit rude and one hotel staff has also rude behavior.
Night staff well beahved and are good persons.
Telephone not working, no handwash in bathroom.
Specially bathrooms are unhygienic and very bad

Excellent property structure and location but sad to say Very poorly maintained. This can be a lot better with a good housekeeping manager. Ppls here are good and courteous specially Ritu on reception. This property can attract good customers if maintained in excellent way.

It's view from Sea beach is awesome and hotel neatness and cleanness is excellent. Hotel staff n Receptionist is very helpful. Stay with happy face.

Spacious room, good food, just beside beach. room rent need to bargen.

Additionally hotel need to improve below points no wifi, tv for showpiece. Blankets are smelly. No door mate or even hanger for shirt.

Gud hotel with reasonable budget..nice sea view room with balcony facing.. restaurant food got with cheaper price..Ritu madam is very responsible for her duty & serve to guests very well delings..very gud staff here..almost every customer should be visit once this property....
