Hotel Dreamland Puri

Had an amazing experience! The room is well designed and the staff is very well behaved. I was also well guided by the staff regarding which are the must visit places around.
The best part about the stay was the food served in the hotel. Their Chinese dishes are must try. The location is near Light House which is away from the crowd one usually witnesses in Puri. If you want to enjoy a peaceful stay by the beach with prompt room service, this is a highly recommended hotel.

Rooms are very small and dirty. When rain started room floor was full with water. And room service was very slow. During rain we were stuck 3 hours with flooded floor in our room. No one was coming to clean up the room. Ac and fridge were not work properly. Regulator of fan is not functioning. But view from balcony was amazing just one step back from sea

stayed in 201,202,203 rooms on 1st floor. location of the hotel is superb.. rooms are also good. overall the hotel is a standard hotel.. the staffs are cooperative... except the restaurant... behaviour of the restaurant manager is extremely poor... he thinks that he is giving the food for free... also the food is extremely costly .
will suggest to don't have food in the restaurant... there are many good restaurants available within 1km distance..
would have given a 5 star if the restaurant was up to the mark along with the behaviour of the manager..

Location is just on the beach, the rooms were sea facing and being on the beach a lot of sand gets into the rooms and require a lot of cleaning. You can access the beach even at night as there is a highmast light installed just in front of the hotel. The location is a bit out of the crowd and hence quite peaceful.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 days but that was a probably a wrong decision.
Pros:
1. If you take a sea facing room which we did, the view from the balcony is amazing. The beach is just 1 min walk from the front of the hotel.
2. Being a bit far away it's far from the crowded centre, however if you don't have your own vehicle, be prepared to pay 100-200 rs for auto fare each time you want to go to swargadwar or the temple

No other pros unfortunately.

Cons
1. The room was dirty we had to clean the table tops ourselves. There was a layer of dust on them.
2. Balcony door and window was broken.
3. They provide complimentary tea bags every evening. But when we requested for additional tea bags which we offered to pay for they said they don't have the policy to provide additional tea bags even if you offer to pay for it, (is this a hotel, really?)
3. Tv was broken at the corners so had a hazy display and from the 2nd day all channels were blocked since they did not recharge.
4. WiFi does not work in the rooms, it only works when you are near the reception area or the restaurant.
A hotel with no TV connection an no WiFi.
We were given an experience of the stone ages (sarcasm).
5. There was continuous noise from construction/renovation on the floor above us for almost the entire day.
6. Since we do not have onion or garlic on Tuesdays we asked them if the sabji for the poor sabji breakfast had onions in it, they said no, after eating we realised it had onions in it.
7. On the day of checkout we were told they only accept cash payments.
8. Service staff is really slow and disrespectful, we had to ask them 5 times to get our rooms cleaned. When you call the reception, they hardly listen to you and disconnect your call abruptly.
9. When we checked in they said the room is cleaned but as we opened the cupboard we found 1 empty beer bottle in the cupboard, probably left by the previous guest, which they never bothered to clear out.

In all, do not go here unless you want to have a miserable holiday to remember.

Avoid this hotel!! Stay away!!!!

Currently i am staying in this hotel. The entire staff is fraud. They showed us pictures of some other room and gave us a below grade room. The bathroom is dirty, the rooms are not at all maintained. Full of dirt and sand, looks like not cleaned since months. Booked 3 months earlier some different room and gave a totally bad room as we checked in later, so they gave our room to some other flying customer. Even though we called and informed them earlier that we will come late. The manager is completely rude and do not have basic etiquettes. On pressurising the room cleaning staff, they acknowledged that this room was not cleaned and it was an economical room. However the manager went on argung the room is cleaned. I would suggest to avoid this cheap hotel in puri as they shows some other room and gives. Even the manager has the audacity to acknowledge that the picture that he shared during booking was 2years old and he his not responsible to share the current picture of the room.

Highly over priced hotel. Standard of this hotel is 2 star.
Rooms are very basic and room rent should not more than 1500 from ground floor and 2500 for higher floors but they charge 3500 to 6000.
Ground floor rooms are pathetic and stinking. Cracks all over. Bathrooms are dirty.
They don’t provide bottled water. Only RO water available.
Food is not at all good, very basic food.
Location - its at the extreme end of newly developed area of puri. 3.2 km from jagannth temple, and 2.5 km from main market. Only plus point sea view and its the only plus point

Room service not available at time
Food are just for eat not taste
After take a bath in sea.
Wet floor not clean by staff .

Not suggest to any one in my knowledge...
