D-Cloud Guest House

Overall a cheap hotel at cherapunji. To be specific the guest house is little bit outside of cherapunji. But the place is good.
The room is good for the price. Don't expect so much from this guest house. This is livable.
The main problem is of food, here food options are very limited and whatever is available is very costly.
At least the owner/caretaker is a very good and helpful person.

I had booked this on booking.com but didn't check things due to the large number of reviews

But upon arrival, since we were a couple, we didn't prefer staying here yet he waived off the cancellation charges!

As a traveller, i would have definitely stayed! And any traveler or group of guys only travellers on a budget can definitely stay here!

We were on a budget trip and Dcloud was our saviour! We were given a clean bedroom with two beds and attached bathroom with hot water supply. We were out cold (unexpected rain in Dec) but the host was caring enough to provide us a heater. The place is really worth staying at if you are low on budget. The host is amazingly friendly. He hooked us with rental snooty service, took us out personally for dinner (as it was too late), made sure we were warm and comfortable. Not only that, we enjoyed talking to him as well! Its better to call him beforehand and talk to him regarding your bookings(if you have done it online) to confirm your booking as many people often don't show up for free cancellation booking! In all, would definitely visit back if I am ever back in Sohra, Yai! :)

Kindly don't book from website like Make My Trip and Goibibo as the Registration are Fake. Do not fall onto the trap , kindly be aware and avoid booking from these website.

Rooms are neat , and Clean affordable prices most importantly friendly habitat by the staff and owner made a very good impactful memories ,.. wish I could have stayed for more days

Absolutely amazing. The owner is very good and respectable and the rooms are at reasonable price. The nearby views are beautiful.

Stayed for a week here, beautiful location. The best thing was being hosted by Yai and "the mystery guy M" who became more like friends. Its was refreshing to meet them. You can have long meaningful conversations with them and get to know lots of interesting stories about the place. They are very nice and super helpful.

The location was Good and the host was friendly. We stayed in a dorm and there was a common Bathroom without a water heater and no lock for the bathroom. Cheerapunji Climate is too cold and geyser is most Essential thing
