Taj Santacruz

Fantastic airport hotel. Possibly the best I have every stayed in and I've stayed in many. Leave longer than you think to get to the airport unless you're going to AND from the domestic terminal. Slightly confusingly Air India DO NOT go from there, so if you are transferring from Air India you'll need a cab to get here. Same for flights to Europe. Still worth it. Transfer is about 25 minutes to however long the traffic makes it! Worth it though as this is a fantastic hotel.

Its a well located five start in the city.
Where they have good rooms and food is also good.
Nothing special about it. Best part is it is near by airport and highway.
I have done event over there they have good service staff. Well behaved guys.
And polite. The size of business center is quite good. With huge television.
But the only thing which effected me is the timing of the booking which they have two slots for the day one is from 9 am to 5 pm and then 5 pm to 11 pm.
Which is big no for any corporate or real estate event where we need one slot of 10 am to 7 pm. Which is normal in all the five stars around the city.

My husband gets a layover very often here. The rooms are amazing! Hotel is beautiful and has worked on every small detail for best guest experience.
Breakfast buffet is more or less the same everyday. All buffet Spreads are good but food turns cold more often. Service is a little slow for beverages, a simple buttermilk took 30 minutes and glasses were really small, didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for a second round. Maybe they need more staff. Lunch buffet starts after 1pm which was a little late for us.
Certain areas like the tiqri lift lobby smells a lot of cigarettes. Overall the experience was good, food is great, stay is amazing always. Reception and room service is great !

The stay was amazing. Everything was great! Breakfast items were delicious. Both healthy and tasty options were available along with bakery items. Indian and western both options had wide variety. Dosa is must try. Loved it! Being allergic to dust, I could feel dust in some parts of the room like wardrobe sections, etc. Apart from that overall room was clean and well maintained. Had very few time to explore other facilities since I was there for some important work. Service was great! Got a perfect view of runway from the room. Could closely see how flights were taking off and landing from the huge window.

Very convenient location right next to airport and metro. Attended a 1 day conference here, was a fantastic experience, very friendly, helpful and polite staff, large spacious conference rooms with all facilities including video conferencing; tasty indian and continental veg-non veg food with great different varieties. Would recommend for any personal or office outings, had not used the rooms so not rated that part. Check out the pics

Everything was almost perfect except the staff on the reception.
The gentleman that handled the check-in was gorgeous (I do not remember the name, is the gentleman with glasses).
Unfortunately, he was the exception, the rest of the reception staff was not very welcoming, generally no smiles, and without a real interest to help.
The worst was the lady on the check-out (Disha?). She looked so bored about her job and she is behaving as she is giving you a big favor for accepting discuss with you.
The staff on the restaurant is however nice and polite, also those on pool and gym. I was very nice surprised about the gentleman watching the pool that, by self initiative, brought me a bottle of cold water. I regret I didn't recall his name as he deserve a special mention.
Generally, the hotel deserves a 5* rating, but the discourteous behavior of the reception staff is disqualifying to a 4* rating.

Amazing stay with international standard of interior room decor.

Good options of restaurants especially for Italian and Chinese cuisine.

One of the best place for English breakfast in Mumbai.

The service provided is top notch.

Very near to airport so a good place to stay if you have connections at airport.

My stay at Taj was super comfortable. Liked the hospitality and the way they treat you is just so amazing. Really helpful & polite. I choose the runway view, and room had a beautiful view & had a full of amenities.
Tried there restaurants China Inc and tiqri. Great service and great food. Worth the try.
The best part of the hotel is its just wall apart from Terminal 1 of Bombay Airport.
