Coco Shambhala Villa Hotel, Sindhudurg

One of the best place I’ve been to in the world! Super secluded & private + great healthy food + unparalleled views + great service & staff. The concept villas are such a treat to live in and the infinity pool is the perfect place to enjoy the sea view and sunshine. It’s a 2 minute walk to the beach. We are a family with 2 kids, 4.5months and 2.5years at the time of the trip.
This was our last stop on a 3 week trip to south Goa.
Shambhala has the wow factor from the moment you walk through the gates. The gardens are like a jungle, much more mature and beautiful than the pictures on the website.

We were greeted by all our hosts and given a phone so we could contact them any time.

The villa was incredible with so much space, beautiful little details and gorgeous design!

There was lots of space to hang out in the lounge and enjoy a drink and a book.

All the food was delicious and the head chef came to discuss what we wanted to try and to advise and tailor the meals to our tastes. They also happily prepared food for our toddler to have an early dinner so we could properly enjoy our dinner once the kids were both in bed!

Your driver is available all day for trips, shopping or just to explore. He was very nice and told us about the area and landmarks as we went around.

We went pottery making and crab fishing. The setting for pottery was great, in the garden or an artists studio, our son especially enjoyed this. The crab fishing was also fun and we caught lots of crabs that the kitchen cooked for us. The crab curry was absolutely delicious but rather fiddly.

We also really enjoyed the Museum of Goa. A modern art museum.

I never asked about it while I was there, perhaps it’s no possibile for some reason, but my only comment would be that it would be nice to see a water filtration system implemented to cut down on the plastic.

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST. I RUN A INCENTIVE TRAVEL AGENCY AND HAVE TRAVELLED AROUND THE WORLD OVER THE PAST 15 YEARS AND I CAN HONESTLY SAY THIS IS THE NICEST PLACE I HAVE STAYED IN. THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT, THE FOOD IS TO DIE FOR, THE VIEWS ARE BEAUTIFUL. TOTALLY OUT OF THE MAIN STREAM TOURIST BAND.. THIS IS A LITTLE PLACE THAT HAS MAGIC LACED WITHIN IT SOUL. IF YOU WANT A PLACE TO RELAX AND RESTORE YOUR HEAD AND YOUR HEART... THEN LOOK NO FURTHER.

This is one of the best places you can ever get to stay. The food is really awesome and you will fall in love with the sea, rain and the hills. Sea, Love and Monsoon just fills my mind when I remember my stay.

The spa was so good I would do that again and again it was very relaxing and calming ❤️❤️❤️

Excellent location in nature and in the woods, full of greenery but feel may not be safe from snakes and other creepy crawlies
Rooms and amenities can be easily upgraded with some basic requirements
Rates quite steep

insanely expensive for the kind of services delivered.
