Good budgeted hotel. Near to railway station only walking distance from station.good rooms. But some room are very dirty n untidy. 24 hours checked out time . Flexible in check in and check out time stay duration should not exceed more than 24 hrs.
No restaurant service.
Even asked for the tea but was not available.
Staff was good.

OYO Group Hotel but you can book room through Goibibo, OYO or directly on phone.
Rooms are small not much comfortable. If you want to sit inside then you have only one chair and bed. Few things must be there:
Extra Chair
Table
Change Mattress ( too much padded , you cannot sleep properly )
Cupboard or self
restaurant or small dining
Staff are good but not prompt. Service is not up to the mark.

Worst ever behavior of the Staff and Oyo Customer care does not help. The staff shouts on kids of 2 to 3 years old. They quote unimaginable charges which are more than a Five star hotel. The staff asks you to leave the Hotel and go some place else if you ask them to clean the rooms. Too noisy to stay. Dirty and filthy. Better to stay in a Dharmshala than this Hotel Kalajanki. It is Hotel काला where you have to worry about your जानकी फिक्र... never ever visit this Hotel.

Brief Review:

This hotel might be preferred by couples with no kids as I see Hotel Staff has been found to be preferring over pilgrims visiting them.

Hotel is strict No-No for the family having kids. I had rather awful experience which I will share after reviewing the hotel amenities .

Hotel Location :

Hotel is located just opposite road besides the railway line entering Ujjain junction hence you might get disturbed due to incoming outgoing traffic and railway horn in case you get room facing road/railway line.

I had booked 3 rooms since our group had senior citizen and kids .

Room Condition :

Rooms seen to be untidy and not clean. When the attendant was informed he said that although rooms were cleaned yet on turning ceiling fan on , the dirt , hair bunch lieing on it get scattered at the bed. This is not expected at all.
One room even had rats who nibbled the airbags and other belongings.

Parking :

There is no dedicated parking owned by hotel. If you are coming by car or tempo traveller you are asked to park it besides the road at your own risk.

Behaviour of Staff :

Staff is largely un professional and hostile towards kids.
The receptionist named Pawan is adamant , unreasonable and arrogant. He blamed that his other guests are getting bothered due to noise made by my kids . Please note kids were playing in the room booked by their parents. If at all echo is coming and other guests have insomnia who sleep until 10 am in morning ( which is either due to poor life style of individual or the poor structure and design where even if you say a word softly it gets echo.) You can either make sound proof hotel or ask the guest who has problem with kids to move out. You can't blame the guest who have kids .

I was asked by the hotel staff to leave despite paying money in advance . At that time I was getting prepared to attend Darshan at Mahakal Temple and the receptionist has ruined the entire peace.

I talked to the owner Mr. Ravi and only then hotel staff backed off.
I urge the owner to maintain cleanliness and train their staff on how to address customer concerns.

Closing Comments :

There are other hotels in the vicinity that offer much better amenities and service .

My advice is to bargain hard if you are still looking to stay in hotel.
