Hotel Amar Palace

Rooms are small and cozy for a small family like couple and a small kid. For additional person they will charge 400 Rs. and give a mattress.
Service is bit slow. They do not have boiler so don't ask for hot water for bath.
They don't have a kitchen. Every order you place for food goes to another hotel which delivers food at your rooms and you have to pay cash immediately.
Temple is very close to the hotel. A big plus theh have.

The worst service anyone can have in the holy city of Ujjain. The reception manager is a rude and a money minded fellow. He alloted a room to us for 1200 rs for 6 hours from 10 Am to 5 pm. We went in and started using the washroom. On entering the details, some other passenger offered him 1500 and the greedy fellow gladly accepted it and shouted at us to leave the room. There is no humane behaviour this guy has. We had two elderly people and 2 women. He showed no respect to either of them and behaved in such a rude way. The rooms are very small and the washrooms are terrible as well. Please do not visit this place
There are many honest accomodation places nearby.

First of all Hotel is very close to temple
Hotel is very clean , Rooms are good,Hot water is 24/7,Hotel staff are very good & available 24/7, Especially there are not any kind of bad activity done by staff in night and Most importantly Manager Mr.Devendra bhai is very supportive in nature and too much helpful for me he suggests all the things which I don't know about ujjain and never ask me about extra money.
Hotel is law cost so I suggest everyone for visiting and in online by directly call to Mr.Devendra Hotel manager their are not any chance of fraud.
I share my recent experience

Such a filthy hotel and their staff management is very unprofessional. They will smoke ganja in the corridor and make noises overnight, that you will not be able to even sleep. Every now and then even in the midnight they will ring your door's bell and will ask you money. They don't care at all that you're asleep or what. Dont ever book this hotel no matter how the situation is. Even normal dharamsala will serve you better. Their staff is always high in ganja and maal. If you're a family person visiting ujjain for pleasant and spiritual experience, dont ever book this hotel. A big NO for family person.

Small room and okay bathroom. Best thing of hotel is it's location, next to mahakaal temple. We booked it by keeping Bhasam aarti in mind. It took just 2-3 min to reach gate 1 for bhasam aarti. They don't have their own restaurant to serve food.

This Hotel is a fraud,
DO NOT CALL on the number given in the google photos, they will ask to transfer amount and then Vanish!
Make sure you DO NOT TRANSFER any amount to hotels, make an agreement to pay on arrival. Please be aware of the fraudulent numbers.
