Loved the old style, takes back to the Kipling days but with all modern creature comforts. Great food and service. They do make you feel comfortable. Definitely recommend this place.

NOT AT ALL WORTH SPENDING WHOOPING PRICE ON THIS PROPERTY Poor staying experience in this resort due to the following reasons : - construction defaults (washrooms had ventilator with a mesh covering, through which everything was visible from outside, the ducts were accessible commonly from the corridor) - untrained staff (staff entered the duct without prior notice and there was someone taking a bath in the washroom and everything was visible from the duct) -- bad and untidy infrastructure , lack of cleanliness (there were cobwebs all around the property) , dirty bedsheets , insufficient lights in the room - no games in the gaming zone and no arrangements were made even on request - there was steel wire in the food, and one of the member of our family even swallowed a piece of it - negligent general manager of the resort, he didn't paid any notice on the services provided, and he didn't even bothered to pay any attention to the same. And was not even sorry for violating our privacy. - very limited food menu on weekdays - very slow staff service -too expensive for the quality of service provided ...
Will never ever recommend anyone to stay in this resort where our privacy is at stack, it's risky in terms of privacy in your own rooms and washroom also.

Did not have a good experience. NOT RECOMMENDED
Pros -Excellent food. Lunch/dinner buffet was very good. Food tasted fresh and balanced. -Not enough options for non vegetarians. Vegetarian food was good.
Cons -Bedsheets had stains on them. Very dirty. Staff wasn’t even ready to replace them or provide an extra sheet upon request. Took 3 denials before they supplied us with an extra bedsheet. -Blankets were dirty with no duvet cover. -No dormitory facility for your driver. -Have to walk long distance to the parking lot. And it’s mandatory to deposit your car keys at the desk in case they have to move it. But really not a valet service. -Poorly designed bathrooms. The entire bathroom gets choked with water when you shower. -Dining area was extremely hot. No air conditioner. Water coolers were there but to no effect in 32C humid weather. Outside patio felt much cooler than inside. -Swimming pool is in the middle of the U shaped resort building. Not to my taste. -Feels like the resort is in the middle of Paharganj Delhi. No jungle ambience. -High tea: We arrived at the resort after the evening safari. Snacks were completely cold by then. Did not taste fresh.
