The Hotel Canoe

We checked-in in your hotel on 01.10.2022 and checked-out on 04.10.2022. The hotel rooms were clean and spacious. The customer service was excellent and beyond our expectations. The food was very delicious. Apart from that, all your staff from the manager, front desk, restaurant, house-keeping were very respectful, kind, and helpful. Keep-it-up. We will definitely be back and will recommend all our friends to stay in Hotel Canoe while they are in Kannur. Thank you!

Room was very neat, spacious and the complementary breakfast was also good. Food ordered in the hotel was well served and tasted excellent. Bathrooms are spacious and well maintained with no smell. Heater we suppose it is solar, it won’t overheat but moderate hot water will come. Special mention to Midlij and all the restaurant folks for serving with a smiling face. Overall a great experience

The best thing about this place is its staff and their attitude. They are always cheerful and ready to help. The food was really very tasty. We had the non veg meals and the portion was actually more than what one person could eat and really satisfying. The food was worth the price.

New hotel, good rooms and clean. Very close to the railway station, city center and walkable to beaches and tourist places like Fort St Angelo. Very customer friendly. Good breakfast buffet spread with lot of typical Kerala dishes. Courteous staff, quite professional for a small town like Kannur.

Rooms are neat and comfortable with all the amenities. Staff is very courteous and quick on call. Location is great with respect to access to all tourist spots and even for shopping. A 10/10 hotel. Loved my stay here with family in Dec 2022.

Breakfast was complementary. Food was tasty but not refilling properly. We were waiting for 30+ min and not refilled many of the items even after requesting multiple time. Not satisfied with the service.
If you cannot serve food properly, please do not provide it rather than making customer frustrated.
Hotel swimming pool not available on Sunday, not informed during booking

Family rooms are almost 20 x 20 feet by size. Rooms are cozy. Attention may be given to provide hand towels / shampoo / conditioner / toothbrush / paste (to save running around at the last minute at least for a few) in the bathroom. Shower cap becomes unavoidable with the shower running from the roof instead of the side wall, if you want to have a body wash only. Complementary breakfast is reasonably good. The restaurant staff and their service was quite good. The place cannot be located if you are not going with maps ( located behind the city centre on the Fort Road ). Overall, for the rent of Rs. 3000 per diem, rating of 3.5 / 5 can be just.
