Tea Castle

Overall it was really nice experience. Their staff is very supportive and caring. Hygienic rooms with enchanting views from the balcony to the food, everything was just awesome.

The hotel is very well connected with the highway and shares a beautiful valley View.

Our 2 days stay at Tea castle was really memorable. Highly recommend to all the couples and travellers to opt this Hotel for lodging.

Hotel rooms are spacious, clean, nice Munnar view from balcony. Staff is to humble and supporting.
We enjoyed for 2days.
Restaurant is so clean and well designed. Just suggest to improve taste of food, specially Punjabi food.
Morning breakfast is just wowwww... 👌 Surely added in our priority list of hotel.

We were a couple and we stayed at tea castle for 2 nights. We were greeted with cinnamon tea at the time of our arrival. We were explained our stay for 2 nights along with our necessary details. The room was clean but the bathroom was not as expected of a 3star hotel. There were spider webs in our bathroom and even the bed was little smaller then our expectations. Room service was good though. We didn't opted for breakfast so cannot say anything about that. Overall experience was average. The hotel needs to work on making the rooms and bathroom clean as it is tagged with 3 star.

It was amazing. The rooms over here are cozy. They have a sml balcony with great view . The meals at this hotel are good enough.
The hospitality given here is far better than expected. Hotel staff are always there to help us. The room service is also good. If one is coming to munnar , this hotel is a great option for them.

Service / staff was good, breakfast / restaurant was good too. Hotel / rooms appeared little old thus require maintenance, overall a decent stay considering we were offered complimentary room upgrade.

Situated more than 10 kms away from Munnar town, this hotel offers great scenic views but has structural problems. For instance, the elevator for guests do not lead you to the floor where your room or the reception or the restaurant is located but you have to walk at least one flight of stairs. It's difficult for old people and people with walking problems.
The restaurant is good but offers only breakfast and dinner buffet - Choice is limited.
No locality or shop in the vicinity for miles, so if you need any medicine or even a packet of biscuits, you need to have a car.
No water or any facilities for drivers.

I visited the Tea Castle restaurant for lunch along with my family during my trip to Munnar. Restaurant was very stuffy but as it was getting closer to 3 PM, we decided to eat from there. They said it's going to be all freshly made and will take 30 minutes to fulfill the order. Food arrived on the promised time however fried rice and butter chicken weren't tasting good. I reordered a plate of chicken 65. It tasted slightly different and came with bones whereas my first order was served boneless. It was eaten by three including me as others finished by then. The next day all three of us had severe stomach problems and ended up in poor health condition and still recovering. Other two don't have any health issues. They should ensure the quality of food that's served to guests, especially children.
