The High House Home Stay

The pictures don’t do justice to the house.
It’s a beautiful house with a sprawling living room and a well equipped kitchen.
The bedrooms are huge and very comfortable. We were a big group yet we had ample of space to ourselves.
The garden is simply awesome. We did not venture out anywhere much during our stay but simply enjoyed the beautiful property . There are games too ,indoor as well as a football, badminton rackets etc to keep you occupied.
Next comes the food and the amazing hospitality. The caretaker Mr Sampath will cook the most delicious food and his lemon chicken was just awesome.
The staff is courteous and well trained.
In short a total five star experience.
I will not look for any other property when I next go to Coorg for sure.
Mr Darshan the owner too ensures that you are well settled and have no issues and comfortable and keeps in touch though he stays in Bangalore.

This is an amazing Home Stay which would easily beat any resort or a five star Hotel. Our special thanks to Sampath and Darshan for making our stay memorable. Your hospitality was amazing and we were totally taken aback by the food quality and taste. You took care of our every small need of ours , whether it was keeping the spice low for kids, providing amazing evening snacks, arranging for a bone fire and music, making sure the food is ready on time. I have never seen one single guy cooking so much variety of food single handedly. We would love to come back here every time we visit coorg. We are also going to recommend this to our friends. Very economical and value for money.

Our stay at High House was nothing less than amazing! Starting with the beautiful and well maintained condition of the property to the ample number of spacious rooms and balconies, all that made the experience comfortable and fun. However, the variety of delicious food(especially the starters were yumm 👌🏼😋) and the warm hospitality from Mr. Sampath (the property supervisor) and others added the cherry topping. Kudos to them for making it an unforgettable experience. And most importantly, a big thanks to Mr. Darshan for hosting us and making it all possible!

Stayed at High House as a group of nine. The property is large and the house spacious. The house is very well furnished and clean - with beds for 13 spread across 4 bedrooms.
The host and his team were extremely hospitable and all our meals at the property (which can be ordered for a very reasonable price) were delicious!
I wouldn’t be surprised to see 5-star reviews from all nine of us here, and High House deserves it all!

The High House gives a wonderful home-away-from-home feel. Clean, spacious and well maintained with greenery all around, it was a refreshing break from routine and we loved everything about our stay. Sampat and team prepared delicious breakfast and dinner.
Darshan was readily available to help from initial booking queries to itinerary suggestions and checking in on our comfort till the end of stay. Bonfire + music with barbecue snacks was a bonus, in the cool evening there. Nice village feel around, very pleasant weather for early morning walks. Super recommend to all!

I am happy that I found this place. Its a homestay within a coffee forest away from the hustle bustle of the city. The house was clean, spacious and met beyond our expectations. Darshan took care of ensuring house has all requirements while Sampat ensured that we get delicious food every single day. I would highly recommend this place to everybody and I would love to stay there again!!

Its a great place to stay. well we were 11 members booked for 2 nights and staff was extremely friendly. Home cooked food was delicious and rooms were spacious and we loved the ambiance.

wonderful experience, clean house and environment, amazing service. Ideal place to have peaceful yet fun time along with awesome food. we wanted to extend our trip as we liked the place so much but unfortunately it was already booked. host Darshan was very helpful and cook Sampath, helping staff were too good. Ideal for both families and bachelors.
