A great place for a getaway from Bangalore. The drive is really amazing through the forest. And the stay and the location is truly beautiful.
The food is pretty good, but can be better. And the place is horribly crowded on the weekends. So I'd recommend not travelling on a weekend if you are looking for a quite getaway.

The place was good silent. Not crowded. Only one or two families in the resort. Staff was really guiding nicely. They prepare a home food and serve you which is tasty and good. There is a jungle lodges nearby if you want to go see safari but not sure many animals are there. If you are interested in seeing animals summer is best season and go on safari before sunrise. If you are a nature lover anytime of the year is good to go. You will be amazed with silense, pleasant weather, nature and chipping sounds of birds. Definitely a place for weekend visit.

The host and the hospitality /caretaker is the best. Mr Prashant will takecare very well. Stay is decent with lovely view from the room cofee and silver trees around. It's a veg food- tasty , nonveg available on request (extra) must visit relaxed and nice places for family and friends. Well sanitised and in middle of cofee estate the stay and food. The wild drive and rain with few animals and lots of birds thanks to Prashant who's naturalist in profession too.

Decent and calm homestay. Food served is good. The staff are friendly. Owner is kind and takes good care of guests. Rooms are spacious. Homestay is inside a coffee estate. This place is near to temple.

Really enjoyed our stay for 2 days, the hospitality by staff was very warm and commendable. The ambience of homestay and the plantation was soul soothing. We are grateful for the help and guidance by Mr Prashant, truly an avid birder. The food was very much homely and delicious too. Looking for more visits in the future.

This is an excellent homestay inside a coffee and pepper estate just a little less than 2kms from the BR Hill temple. The rooms were large and very clean and I observed that they are cleaning the rooms and bathrooms with Phenyl and Dettol immediately after a guest checks out and also changing the linens. Food was excellent and sumptuous and pure veg. They make non-veg only on special request while booking, if feasible. The staffs here are very courteous and helpful. The Naturalist in the homestay was extremely knowledgeable about the forest and the wildlife and he accompanies guests on every wildlife safari and arranges bookings in the K.Gudi safari. He was able to name almost every bird we saw and was extremely good at spotting wildlife. They also run a wayside restaurant named "Giridarshini" which is just on the main road at the entrance of this estate.

9 of us stayed for 2 nights here. Pretty hospitable. Positives : Good rooms, nice location inside coffee estate , pretty tasty and filling food, regular snacks, naturalist guide to accompany to Safari ( Mr. Prashanth Gowda who also manages this place ) perfect place to relax and idle .. just idle without doing anything. Proximity to BR Hills . Good place for bird, spider and butterflies watching, along with monkeys, squirrels and wild boars which also reside along feasting the coffee plants . Well maintained rooms
Negative : only one aspect of not having coffee / tea early in morning, needed to wait till breakfast for same . An early morning provision for same will be good, or else need to walk for 1/4 km to get one . Also room cleaning could have been done everyday instead of waiting for guests to vacate .
Overall recommendable for a familt stay. Not much activities around BR hills itself, so a pretty relaxing experience in stress filled life .
