Hotel The Grand Mamta

The hotel is located 300 m from Dal lake. 1 km from city centre. Good location, excellent service by the operational manager and his crew. The Stay was comfortable. No disturbance whatsoever, very polite and accommodating staff is the highlight of the hotel. Big rooms, 24/7hot water facility, kettle, flask, AC refrigerator in room, wooden flooring, lift, gym almost everything is there. Food could have been a Lil better, but they have tried their good I should say. Overall happy with stay!

The stay at the Grand Mamta was awesome. Room was spacious and had all amenities. The property is very well maintained and cleaned. Each and every staff at the hotel was very welcoming and was at your service. Majid and Amin at the reception deserves a pat on the back. The entire F&B staff Jengir, Waseem, Adil Shakir and the manager ensures that you are taken care of at the hotel. The quality of the food is awesome and they don't compromise on the ingredients. The buffet dinner and breakfast was a part of the package that I availed but there was no compromise on the quality of the food on the buffet.
The behavior of the staff to kids and family is worth a mention . They have games in the Gym which Kids would

Had a very comfortable and happy stay at The Grand Mamta, Srinagar. The location is very near to lal chowk and the market.
Although I believe the room price could be a little lower, I must admit that the staff behavior and service was top notch. I would particularly like to thank Amin / Ameen (don't know the actual spelling) from the room service and Aadil Rather from dining hall. Amin really was fantastic and energetic guy who gave us top notch service and was always available for our help. Aadil really made the dining experience great with good food recommendations and taking care of every need during meal time.
On food: The breakfast was good with good utthapam and bakery items (although could be a little better with things like poha, upma and parantha) and dinner was great. Try their Kashmiri Pulao, Kadhai Paneer and dal fry. Cant comment on lunch and never had it. Overall a great experience.

We stayed in September 2022 at this hotel. Excellent hotel, rooms are spacious and clean. Special thanks to Arshad in housekeeping, Danish in the restaurant and the entire staff of Grand Mamta. Breakfast buffet is a decent spread, serving different menu everyday.
Once again I would like to mention, the entire staff is polite, efficient and kind. Will definitely suggest this hotel to everyone.

Everything is good. just that a little high in price but service wise very good. One thing that is why I am giving it a 4 star in review is that the restaurant charged 100 rs for a glass which was accidentally broken and this is one of the misery which is seen. These kind of things are usually ignored even if you just visit a restaurant for dinner only. But we were staying there and still they charged penalty which was little surprising.

It was awesome experience. All staffs are so friendly and they are providing very good service. Cleanliness,food, room services everything is satisfied.
You must have experience it once.

Overall a very pleasant stay. Hotel is walking distance from the Dal Lake. Ample parking space. Hotel is located around 50m inside main road, not visible from front, this can be a negative point. Check in was smooth. Room was spacious even with an extra bed and clean. Food quality was excellent. We had taken MAP plan. Only negative point I can think of was stains on pillow covers and towel.

We stayed in winter season. On December 14. A normal stay, good rooms but not luxurious, heated bed blankets they will provide. AC working from 6evening to 12 night and from 6am morning to 11am... In our room AC not working so they arrange a small heater. Just a average stay not bad
