Nice ambience, a very cooperative staff with some nice food on the table.

The hotel/guest house badly needs renovation. Room are spacious but has old smelly carpets, dirty furniture, old bathroom/electrical fittings etc. Food was satisfactory and staff courteous. Rooms were not cleaned despite having asked for the same.

A good place to see sunset and close by to advance study. When we went there was some construction and repair work was going on. But certainly a good and quite place to have meaningful conversations

I am from, UttarPradesh. I cam here to attend my friends wedding. It was a pleasant staying at this place in Shimla.
Rooms were beautiful and amazing. We an see the nice view from the room.
I like the viceroy's room too. It feels like I am staying in a palace.

Hotel Peter Hoff is in prime location but hospitality is poor. Anyone can book from HTPDC, Govt of Himachal Pradesh tourism site. Rooms are well decorated but very stinking. Those who have dust allergy problem may face trouble. Bed cover, pillow cover and blanket cover are provided to us previously used one. Floor carpet is very dirty. So before use need to check. Govt and political party programs are organized here regularly which may hamper the serenity of travelers. Lawn is beautiful and it is used for wedding purpose many times. Daily room rent is about Rs 5000/- per day but breakfast is not included. Food items are very costly here but not delicious. Geyser and room heaters sometimes not working . Please check before use. Telephone in each room is not working to call for room service. Staffs are cooperative. Apparently it looks gorgeous from outside but a poor condition is prevailing inside. Beware of before booking.

The location and view from the hotel lawn is nice. But the hotel is poorly maintained. The same goes with service. The room was spacious but didn't have adequate heating facility. Don't provide water in the room. The restaurant is good but slow service as well on the costilier side.

A wonderful historical building. It offers few rooms to stay for tourists.

The view from this hotel is worth seeing and when the sun sets it becomes more beautiful. The hotel has a cafe along with a lawn where you can enjoy sunset sipping coffee/tea and some snacks.
