Kareri Cottages

Visited Kareri with my family and we all enjoyed thoroughly. The owner was very friendly, approachable and cooperative. He also took us on a trek.The staff were very respectful and also added to the experience. The service was unbelievably good as well as the food which you couldn’t fault at all. The stay was peaceful and the cherry on top was the view. Thanks to everyone at Kareri Cottages for making the trip memorable !

The view is soothing to the eyes, the hospitality is good, the food is delicious. Kids friendly. The owner takes good care of his guests…………!!!!! Esp in arranging food liked by the kids:) thanks to the Kareri cottages for making our stay a memorable one.

Everything was good , but the hospitality shared by the staff and the owner itself was just marvellous . We were overwhelmed with the services of the Hotel staff in food & amenities. We faced allot of Rain at the time of checkout and the owner itself escorted us till the way roads were damaged due to landslides. They helped us move our vehicles by getting the rocks aside of the way . Like who do'es this . Gem of a person. Thanks for macking our family holiday the best one.

Its better than most of the properties in Mcleodganj area. Very well made wooden cottages. You will get most fo the facilities here. Food is very good and especially the cottages tarrif is very genuine. Not every thing is perfect, but will give 6 stars out of 5 because everyone here especially Amit ji and Deepak ji take care of everything for you. Very good place to relax and spend your weekend.

Great place! The owner, Amit, helped us with anything we needed. The cottages were clean and cosy and they were built in a secluded part of the town which made our stay feel like we were in the nature, but with luxury cabins. There is a lot of grass around, and places to chill. In addition, we walked the Kareri Lake Trek which was organized by Amit as well. I definitely recommend this place!

Kareri Cottages is a must stay place if you are visiting Dharamshala. It is 1 hr drive from Mcleodganj. This place is serene and away from the crowd. Experience best hospitality and service from the owner Amit Dewan. I stayed here in Jan'23 and I am sure planning more stays here in future. You can also do a 1 day trek to mesmerizing Kareri lake from here with guide provided by hotel. They currently have a capacity of 40 people and expanding. Cottages are very clean and surrounded by great views! PS: Cottages are bit steep down from road, so a 1 min easy walk in the muddy stairs and trek is needed.
