Totally loved our recent visit in June 2022 at this excellent property. Rooms are spacious, clean and with all basic amenities.
Restaurant is also amazing and food is great too. But be careful about their dish prices. Rs.380-400 is their average dish price. My only reason of giving it a 4star is because of costly food menu. But everything else was best of its class.
I would recommend this to everyone travelling to Kangra, Himachal for mandir darshan.

I stayed for a night and room was really good & clean. Can be easily located. Had breakfast, tasty parathas but coffee was not that good. Friendly staff. Ample parking space.

The rooms are neat & clean. There is a separate cabin in each room for eating food. I enjoy staying there.

Too good food well experienced staff , service quality is very well and efficient staff. Food is really delicious and presentation is proper.

Knowing the town well, I know this hotel came up as an oasis in Kangra. On earlier occasions I've had reasonably good experience.
Being a local residence I have used only the restaurant services.
However, this time I thought of leaving a review as the experience was pretty 'bad'. And more so as I can see staff becoming insensitive service standards going down. I was meeting an old friend (now settled abroad) after 30 years.
As we entered the restaurant we were told not to speak as apne political party was holding some lecture there. Can you believe, in a restaurant? And then they are not even sensitive to either shut it for other guests or let them speak. Knowing the place we moved to their dry bar to be served non-hot substandard coffee, with none to wait the tables.
Then the card swipe machine didnt not work (maybe deliberately not to accept credit cards). More so with an insensitive non-courteous mam behind the main reception desk. Seemed like their manager.
Hope the owners shall deploy some 'mystery shopping' exercise to assess standard to stem the decline.
