THE SOMNATH GATEWAY

Fabulous stay near Somnath temple, Good and hygienic stay we had. All the basic amenities available with a luxury touch to everything. One should not miss the healthy and nutritious breakfast. Overall, it’s mixture of comfort and bit of luxury. As it is newly build price wise cheaper than other properties nearby.

First thing that strikes you smack in your face is lethargy of the staff. Even a clerk in an Indian post office has more expressive face.

Certainly not cozy. I found the food absolutely tasteless.
It is all right if you have no other choice.

Had a pleasant & comfy stay here. Property is not too far from Somnath temple. Rooms were near & clean, linens were clean too. Ample parking space available for those who will visit by their own vehicle. Food was awesome too. You will definitely love this place.

Very poor service in the hotel from room service to kitchen departments. I have visited many hotels and resorts but this was the horrible experience so far amongst all the bad experiences.
If your dinner and breakfast is included in package they will not look at you even if you want anything and in advertisement they show 24 hours room service but they can't give a glass of milk after 10.30, not even raw milk to make it hot in room. I am taking away a very bad experience and I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Please avoid if you need good service at standard rates. Better options are available

Hotel service was average. Multiple follow ups were required to get towels, blankets or any house keeping person for luggage shifting..

Food was very good. Property is neat and clean. Rooms are good but price is on higher side..

Great place to stay. There's ample parking space, the rooms are amazing and have all the required amenities. It's not too far from the Somnath temple parking (around 2-3 km), so that's also a plus. Even though it's located on the main highway, there's not too much noise since the rooms are well-insulated. In fact, all the major hotels are on the same highway. The only problem we faced was that the WiFi wasn't working when we checked in. It took them a long time to fix it (it was only fixed till evening). Other than that, it was a great stay. The staff was also very courteous. They have two restaurants on their premises - 1) Kamath, a famous South Indian food chain, and 2) Their own restaurant, which had great Kathiawadi food, especially lasooni aloo.

We traveled to Somnath as a group in December 2022 and stayed at THE SOMNATH GATEWAY hotel 2 nights. We were an international group of 14 people - Russia, Ukraine, Europe, etc =) ... We were very warmly received (without prior booking!!!), settled in the rooms early check in (because there were free rooms) and so on. The manager Amit is very hospitable, he understood our wishes and requests and was very kind person. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. We loved this place. Thank you!

The hotel seems to be good, but we encountered an uncleaned toilet seat. When we asked the staff to clean they were reluctant and the reception guy was trying to aggressive. When we asked him to come and speak to us personally at the room he did not come. We wanted to show him the toilet. Then my husband goes and gets him. He said that there is no 1 to clean at this hour. We will get it clean next day morning. In short they expected us to clean. We requested to change our room. They denied for that as well, but rooms were available at Agoda.
Pathetic attitude.
