OYO 27662 Varma Palace

This place is value for money. All rooms have 2 double beds. Bathroom is small but clean, all electrical equipments were in working order.The breakfast was good. On the flip side, the staff are unprofessional, corridors are congested and only free cable tv channels are available. Wi-fi speed is good but restricted to 4 hours of use per day.

Good Rooms, Old infra, rate very competitive, good clealiness, reasonable, location but a bit inside (hardly 100 meters from main road), parking a big issue if rush is high, inside restaurant failed to serve tea and food as cooking staff was not available! staff was very cooperative, wifi worked well, house keeping very good
family was happy with room size, amnities, service etc.

The stay at Varma Palace in Surat was pretty decent. Nice clean rooms, good breakfast. Overall a pretty decent experience.

Overall stay was good. Well parking for my car. Staff is also supportive.

A good place to stay especially if you have to attend District and Sessions Courts Surat. Staff is very co-operative. I ordered for breakfast, but wasn't served on time, so I skipped it. Rooms are clean and spacious. Best wishes to Varma Palace staff and team. Kind Regards, Adv Tara Shankar Jha

worst management. Money hungry people. 11 Am is their standard check out time. And most of hotels allow their guests to check out by 12. But since they had some bookings on the day i was going to check out, they started reminding me from early morning. In early morning they called me on phone. Then around 9.30 their service staff came in banging the door. Then at 10.30 the receptionist called and told me to vacant the room as its check out time already. People who expect any courtesy, respect or privilege against spending their valuable money......should not at all go to this property.

I booked a stay there through booking,com and reached the hotel.
The hotel staff told u have booked at very low price so i cant provide you room. The reception guys were very rude and did not offer any apology and simply turned me away. They were least bother on how i will search or find a place. Never book this hotel as they are money minded and no empathy. I have even paid them but still they told they cant refund the amount and asked me to contact booking.com for refund. Such a pathetic , worst hotel. I am solo traveller and have been to some of the remotest places like hanley leh meghalaya never faced such a issue. I strongly dont recommend them. Cheap and rude ppl are running this.

Good hotel for stay without restaurant inside but many restaurant in vicinity (walkable) and Swiggy and other online delivery options avaualble. Parkign available inside but may be for 3-4 cars only.
