Ginger East Delhi

Hotel ginger is amazingly beautiful with a very soothing interior and a warm hospitality. A beautiful place to relax and makes us feel -at -home. i had a great experience during my stay there. The rooms are very classy with all the facilities to fulfil our needs. The food served there is very delicious. And also not forgetting to mention about the management, who are very pleasing. As a whole i had a very good time there and would surely like to visit there again.

WORST ! Right from entry in the lobby which is full of dirt and smell to the room which seems like a haunted , uncleaned for years, spider webs, dirty bedsheets to the worst service. You have to ask for towels, glasses and plates for eating for 5-6 times unless they give you. They treat you worst. Even OYO gives better service and cleaner rooms than this. You have to call 4-5 times before they actually come to the room with anything you ask for. Never go to this pathetic hotel.

This hotel is recommended for budget travelers who are not seeking luxury but decent accommodation at a good location.

After considering the advantages and disadvantages overall I would rate this hotel decent at this price range.
It is well known that rooms are quite small and with basic minimum facilities in all Ginger hotels.
Overall neat and clean hotel rooms with a fast elevator. Having a kettle in the room and a
filter water dispenser (and also an Iron service) on every floor can be very useful and also becomes very economical in many aspects.
I consider this a very important feature as many hotels willingly don't keep tea/coffee makers in their rooms.
The complimentary breakfast was excellent and beyond my expectation.
The hotel has a small but not-so-well-maintained gym and there is scope for improvement here as well.
Besides, the overall behavior/helpfulness of the staff/reception, Housekeeping, and room service was good and positive.
The free Wi-Fi was pathetic and the hotel must work on this very important aspect. The dining option (Lunch/Dinner) was limited and in general, the waiting time used to be very long, probably due to the lack of staff in the kitchen department. Although the good part was that the hotel never objected to bringing food from outside.
The checkout procedure was not at all satisfactory, not only did it take a very long time but the receptionist failed to provide a few required bills.

Had a good stay in Ginger East Delhi for about 10days. Decent hotel at a decent price.
Complimentary Breakfast is good with quite some choices. The restaurant is on the top floor and food can be ordered in the room also (but the menu is limited and not very exhaustive). All the staff are very polite and helpful. House keeping staff Gaurav and Neeraj are very efficient and always on time for room cleaning. for any minor problems in the room, I had to inform the house keeping staff and they got it resolved immediately. Overall there is some scope for improvements definitely, but as a budget hotel I believe it's good. If I have some work in this part of Delhi then i will definitely stay here again.

Me and my husband were attending a wedding and unfortunately were staying at Ginger. Yesterday a fire broke at the hotel and we were stuck there. While we evacuated ourselves we realised there were no ventilation system at the emergency exit. Fire alarm in our room 405 did not even work. While hotel staffs did their best to evacuate all but the hotel authority is to be blamed. A proper ventilation system and emergency exit plan would have saved many from the trauma. In addition to that, the room’s linen were dirty, there are no calling bells outside the rooms, cockroaches found at our room. They promised to give room keys at 1pm when we checked in, but at 3pm they finally gave the keys to the room. Highly unprofessional, unsafe hotel I have ever experienced.

We wanted an early check-in. In order to avail that, we were trying to contact the hotel since last 4 days. We tried all the numbers available online, no luck! After that, we called ginger toll free number, they also give two numbers of assistant and hotel manager, still no luck. After that they assured us that the rooms are available at the hotel. When I came to the hotel, the rooms were not available. This was not expected.
During our stay, the light went off. They took two and hours to do the maintenance. They said it’s not in their policy to give another room.

Great budget hotel. Staff is good & professional. Stayed here for 2 days for work purpose. cleanliness is fine. Location is good if you want to stay in East Delhi . Service or prompt.

Stayed a couple of time at this hotel as it is near to my head office. Earlier it was a nice budget hotel with the simple/ minimalist rooms. This time I had issues with the room as in-room entertainment unit was not working and even after repeated request to front desk it was not resolved.
