Hotel Singhania Sarovar Portico,Raipur

Overall a really good hotel. The breakfast buffet could've been better... But really, if your not too picky, it's good enough

Overall bad experience and probably the second worst hotel I've stayed at in my 2 weeks in India, especially given this one is on the pricier side.

The rooms are quite run down - walls need painting, the bathroom was full of mold (this is a health hazard), and some parts are very dirty.

The service is quite amateur, although the staff seems to try to be kind and good-willed, just lacking any training.

- Housekeeping took the hand towels and did not replace them. They also left a bottle of detergent spray and had to call them to take it.
- we gave a bunch of stuff for ironing. Staff kept knocking on the door every 10 mins to give us an additional piece once at a time, instead of everything together.
- Buffet food was not that good, but the staff kept staring at us throughout our meals, literally 5 members of staff surrounding our table and staring at us eat, not giving any privacy. Very uncomfortable.
- Breakfast staff member asking me for a selfie out of the blue.
- WiFi didn't work in our room 202
- Hot water only worked the first night
- Bar got our order wrong and insisted we sign for something we didn't order and get something else in return later.
- might want to install a coat hanger in the bar.

Definitely not what you expect at a 4 star hotel. I've had better service at hostels that cost a quarter of the price.

Nice hotel with great ambiance. They have closed hall which is suitable for small get together and functions like birthday party and engagement ceremony.

This facility is very good. I have booked through make my trip. Room temperature and interiors well maintained. Hot water temperature should be increased. Breakfast is delicious. Over all I am very much comfortable during my stay.

The food and stay was really bad. Staff is really unprofessional, even rude almost everytime and not even trained properly about basic hospitality. Rooms were used to be decent but not anymore. Have given this Hotel a lot of chances as it was near to our place and carry the name of Sarovar but it always disappoints.

Very nice place nice veg food...but dunno why they serve halal chicken even though there are most of the peoplewho eat jatka chicken and mostly that zone is covered by jhatka eating people..if they serve jhatka then we can have lots of party

Awesome hotel at Raipur. It's slightly outside of main city / station area . Nicely maintained hotel. Good spacious room . Good breakfast option avl. Big parking area . Very fast service. Food quality is very good . Linen is very good quality. Washroom also very nicely maintained.
