Hotel Shakuntla Palace

We stayed here for 18 days.
Best rate they gave in Gaya town.
Very good facilities they are providing.
It's clean and they keep a watch on cleaning always.
Good staff.
They have all facilities. Resturant and everything.
Highly recommended by our family to everyone.

This is the worst place to stay even for a night. This is the only one of its kind I ever stayed in a hotel. Very small room, No TV, No hot water, No bed sheet to cover the body while sleeping, no towel. Very thin and hard mattress to lie down. There is a better hotel "Manthra Regency", very close to Shakuntala Palace. I would have given nil as far as stars are concerned.

It was a pleasant stay with family. I stay with my family for three days i didnt faced any issue the staff and owner were all cooperative and foods are tasty and at reasonable price.

Surprised to see this place has got 4.4 review on Google.. Giving one star because the system doesn't allow rating in negative. The stay has nothing more than a nightmare..The basic stuff in a room was unavailable - no water in the room to drink, only mineral water needs to be bought, the shelf to keep stuff is dirty and not cleaned ...the AC and geyser will not work together. The geyser switch is at such a height to switch on and off that you need a stick and that too is shared across rooms and then they switch it off from outside...even a basic facility to provide hot water is unavailable with them..to top this one of the owners is super rude..expecting the guest to adjust to their rules and should be ok with whatever is provided..please note this experience I am talking about is of their top category room..
PLEASE AVOID STAYING here and probably go for some other place ..

We came from kerala and it was hard to understand the language but the hotel management helped us and treated like family.

Went for my Bihar Judiciary examination. It was a very convenient and affordable stay. All the necessary amenities are nearby. My centre was nearby, commutation services are easily accessible. Railway station is in walking distance. 😌

We stayed at this place during my visit to Gaya for performing Pinda daan. The rooms are below par, no running hot water in the rooms, available only on request. The service boy did his best to make us comfortable. The location is in a very crowded neighborhood however it is close to the main mandir.
