Brahmaputra Guest House

We had booked a double bedroom and it was a good room for two. The room was as per the photos that are posted. The stuffs are helpful and well behaved. As per the terms and conditions free wifi, free breakfast was provided. Tv was there and its working. Ac and geyser was there and working. Beds are clean enough. The bathroom and toiletries were ok but still needs improvement. Overall a good experience at the hotel.

The staffs are polite and well mannered. The room is clean but the bedsheets seems as if not properly washed. The toilets are also not clean as expected. I will say it is an over-rated guest house as the price doesn't meet the services and hygene given. The price of the stay can be lowered.

Bit difficult to locate though it's on main road because of small signboard but local people know this Hotel pretty well.
Entrance corridor is dark and leaks in rain. As the hotel lobby is on first floor so you have to use this corridor.
Nice hotel and service. Very cooperative staff.
Good for couples and family.
Bathroom could have been in better shape.
Clean sheets and room.
Dont order food from room service. It's not worth it. Very good restaurants are nearby like Darbar and Birayani centre. Or else order using Swiggy as it gives fastest delivery here.

Brahmaputra guesthouse was a wonderful stay. Check-in was smooth. The room was very spacious, and so was the bathroom. Cleanliness was on point. Not to forget the decor of the room was very modern and clean and its exactly as shown in the pictures. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not to forget the location of the guesthouse is just behind Adabari bus stop. So commuting to and fro on public transport very easy. If I've to stay again in Guwahati i will definitely choose this place again!

staff should be changed, they r totally mannerless and rude.Didnot provided the essentials like bucket mugs etc, when asked again and again after 4 hours they hv provided without mug and told they cant provide mug.price is too high bt no facility, geyser doesnt work, food are cold ,pillow are smelling very unhigenic.. staff are jot taking care of customer onces paid.ll not suggest for family at all.
worst experience ever, worst guest house

This is probably one of the dirtiest and worst hotels ever. This is registered in Oyo app as Collection O 50255 Brahmaputra Guest House. The entrance is through a dirty drainage channel with sewerage water passing. The environment is highly unhygienic, so are the rooms, corridors, dining area. Here and there in corridors, staircases you will find cigarette buds, food thrown away, trash dumped and similar things. They provide used smelling bedsheets and pillow covers, most of the bathrooms are dirty like anything. They don't have professional cleaners, they get hotels cleaned through daily wage child labourers who have no sense of hygiene, they make rooms and bathrooms dirtier. They are using their soiled hands to fix bedsheets and pillows. AC remotes do not work properly, some of them make noises. Most of the bathroom fittings do not work. Commodes and basins are full of stains. We asked for all out and they said they don't have refill. Some rooms have bed bugs as well. This is a hotel should not be worth more than 500k per day however they charge 2700 for per day. You will definitely get sick if you stay here.

Location is good, but AC wasn't working, ek room i.e 206 was good and huge, but other were small...overall nice , but what you would expect from 1.5k

Room is good nice location bus stand near hotel.. But service and neatness is very poor
