Sugar Rose Inn

We (my extended family and I) got the whole place, a total of six bedrooms along with the kitchen for a period of four days. Since it's situated in a residencial area, Sugar Rose (or Rosh) offers a peaceful environment. The rooms were more or less decent, some better than the others. Same goes for the bathrooms, 105 has a gargantuan bathroom along with a bathtub and a shower enclosure where 102 or 103 has a tiny one where you can barely move around. So we got both the good and the bad. There's a cook available upon request and a nominal fee of just Rs.200 which is great given the fact that the food prepared by the cook was very delicious. The rest of the staff, however, leaves more to be desired. On the surface they may seem amiable but over the course of 4 days I have seen their attitude towards work. If and when I raise a concern or have a complain, they simply put their hands up and tell me that the owner of the place should take care of my concerns. I did infact talk to the owner as well and he is a very nice guy. But clearly he has blind faith upon his staff and expect them to handle the place smoothly without really having a real conversation with them. Really, it's a case of mismanagement where the owner feels like his staff should be able to tackle every obstacle whereas the staff feel like they could care less since they don't own the place. Ultimately, it's the customers who have to suffer due to lack of communication between the owner and staff. There's also the problem with car parking and one of the staff members acting rowdy after being drunk but I won't go into details here.

Amazing place with awesome stay and food items. The service is also very good. Staffs are professional. .and good hygiene is maintained with proper sanitisation system. Covid 19 protocol is firmly followed here. A nice homestay to have a healthy snacks or meals. The menu is full of items with reasonable price range

Prices too much according to the services offered. The place is not what it looks in the pictures. The room that was offered to us had damps on it. The bed sheets were so unhygienic. When told to staff, they told these are new bedsheets.
Moved out immediately.

I do not recommend this place as the pictures does not justify what it looks like it real. Rooms r preety dirty with mosquitoes filles. Broken vent. Do not book without seeing the rooms. Once happened with us when we booked the rooms in advance.

It was not at all how we expected, the worst service not in case of service personnel the staff was very well mannered but service amenities were non existent two of the Rooms Air Conditioner were not working, Uncleaned Refrigerator it was like some one had come before you but nothing was cleaned after they left. No Free Wifi, No Television... There are Pros like Huge parking spaces and quiet and calm neighborhood. Cleanliness was a major issue the room we got was not at all cleaned before it was offered to us for staying Towels were unwashed.. Overall a Very Bad Experience avoid at all cost

It is not at all maintained. Pictures are age old, physical conditions of the house is pathetic. Two members of my family had to leave in the middle of the night due to cleanliness issues. Kitchen utilities are not working. No coordination between owner and caretakers. TV's dont work. No remote of AC's. Bedsheets are stained by god knows what. Keys of some rooms not available.
Overall experience poor.

We few friends went there for a get together party. The rooms and kitchen was so dirty that i return back to home at night at around 1.30 am. They stayed there as they were little bit drunked.
Don't waste your money. Try ARBNB or book OYO. This place is worst.

There was a Sugar Rosh that we went to, which was absolutely a horrible experience. The sheets were stained with god-knows-what, cockroaches on the floors and shady people already staying there. Definitely would steer clear if I were you.
