It's an excellent place to stay if the idea is to purely visit the Kamakhya temple. If you have a lot of luggage though, it might make more sense to stay closer to the main road, because you'll have to carry it up a lot of stairs.
The rooms themselves are lovely, just ensure to ask for the rooms to be cleaned, otherwise it won't be done.
All eateries around the temple only serve breakfast around 8.30-9am onwards since that's when the temple crowd gets out. Their lunch thalis are excellent and probably the best choice for lunch in the area if money is not a hindrance.
Staff is super kind and helpful. Rooms are clean and neat.

Overall had a great experience with the hotel.
Located just beside kamakhya temple. 1 minute walking distance distance from the main gate of the temple.
Rooms are very clean, well maintained and the staffs are also very friendly and interactive. Food is also very delicious especially mix veg dish. They need to improve their service a bit as they take time. I definitely recommend this hotel to them who are looking for a low budget hotel near kamakhya temple just for a day stay.

Overall good experience with the hotel.. Rooms are clean. Staff are good and very helping in nature and most important part is hotel is just beside the temple 1 min walking distance..you will also get the view of the hotel from the hotel room.

Very good location for Ma Kamkhya Darshan. Good hotel in terms of rooms and cleanliness. Food can be a little bit of issue, they take time to get room service

We stayed in this hotel because it is very close to the Maa Kamakhya Temple. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. You need to climb a lot of stairs to reach the hotel but they send their staff to bring your luggage up. Staff is friendly and helpful. They provide good quality and shower gel, shampoo and soap in the bathroom. Rooms are clean and hotel is good for visiting the temple. You can easily get taxi from hotel to anywhere at reasonable price and they arrange taxi at all hours to go to airport or railway station. I will recommend the hotel if your primary reason for visiting is Maa Kamakhya Temple. 4 stars only because it is too far from everything else.

Worst experience ever. Totally unprofessional..only plus point is it is nearest to temple. They dont keep guest for more than 12 hrs yes that there strategy and also good service as there is lack of staff... Its better to take hotel near market of guwahati if you want to visit other location too... I will never suggest this hotel to my family and friends..

Have been visiting kamakhya mandir since decade, for those who exclusively want to stay close to kamakhya, there is no better place thn this. The manager, staff all were polite and helpful. We were a group of over 130 people and 32 of us stayed in shreemoyee.
The manager and cook were kind enough to head to our request for dinner for 130 people. The rooms are clean, neat. Food was good and tasty. Will surely be staying at this place often.
