OYO Townhouse 706 Hotel Rjb Grand

This place has been one of the most comfortable stays I’ve had in Guwahati. The hotel feels safe and has 24/7 cctv surveillance.
The room itself and the washroom are very clean; they come with toiletries.
The hotel is very hospitable and genuine with their services. The staff is very polite and helpful. The food is great. Perfect location for anyone staying for airport reasons.
Not posting any pictures because my room is a mess after all the unpacking.

Room is very good as compared to price. But front staff need to learn hospitality, we were so tired and still they made us wait for 10 mins to just checkin formality which they could have done after giving us room.. even after repeatedly asking they were not responding and just avoiding , complimentary breakfast not good , asked for tea , didn't come and we left.. Only positive is its location which is near to airport and rooms are good .

Very bad experience being a corporate customer. Food delivery is too late that too cold. At 8:45am also complimentary breakfast is not ready. Only very basic facilities. To me they are charging high only if you compare facility. & Ant , spider will company you in rooms.

We stayed there for 3 days...we booked the hotel through Oyo...At first we were little worried because of the negetive reviews...But after staying there, I'm extremely happy with their service...the behaviour of the staffs was very nice and they were very helpful...the room and washroom was clean and tidy ...the only negetive point was the food of their resturant was quite expensive... other than that overall experience was amazing

Rooms are good, well maintained and cleaned here along with a good service and also staff behavior was nice. Nice and comfortable to stay here. Not very much expensive rooms.

Car help for airport was horrible. Hotel coordinator ( male) manipulated rates upwads from normal 500 per car to 750 per car coting morning time (6AM) and pooja time (navami), promised 2 Dezires @ 750 each ( distance from hotel to airport less than 8 km). No car came till 0620. After shouting at him he arranged 2 Maruthi Altos, one of which came at 0622, sent off one car loaded saying "pl dont pay for this car as it belongs to my friend, complimentary for my failure). But insisted for payment of Rs 800 per car as it was getting late before the second car with 3 of our group. Had to shout at him again but still extracted 1400 @ 700 per Alto ... Horrible experience.
Broken furniture, no spa e between wash basin and toilet seat.
Forced to eat in room, dining hall booked for party. No furniture for that.
Had to remind 3 times over 1 1/2 hours for extra bed
Do not provide itemised food and room service bills. Only total bill.
Attend to luggage on arrival. No help during check out, once tips received.

Remote location. No alternative for food or refreshments. Or prepaid transport outside peak hours.

Overall, horrible experience. Felt extorted. Will not recommend to my friends or relatives.

I checked in at 1 am and the staff were very helpful and informative. After filling out some necessary forms for foreigners, I went to the room.

The food is authentic Indian, taste good even for me a foreigner, with reasonable price.

The next day, I had a problem with my card for the transaction, the hotel staff patiently gave me the best solution for the situation.
