Hotel Athidhi Grand

The front desk and service team very prompt.
Rooms are spacious and nice.
Mattress and bed is comfortable.
Here and there few minor things that cam be overlooked

Worst hotel. It might have been famous once but it's now in a state of utter neglect. The hallways are filled with cigarette smoke. Rooms are dingy with a musty smell.

I paid Rs. 1500/- advance and took a room. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, so we went to another hotel across the road for dinner. This was so much better that I FORFEITED MY ADVANCE and took a room in the other hotel. What more can i say?

And bathrooms are pretty big but again cleanliness was a concern. Lamp shades are filled with cob webs. The corridors have a very murky smell. Location is great though but unfortunately will not prefer visiting again

The Hotel is Good. But, The staff and Service is the worst. The rooms are smelly. Don't Prefer To Stay.

This is easily the worst hotel we've ever stayed in.
Room type says Executive Deluxe AC room. There is nothing Executive or Deluxe about this place.

1. We were deliberately given a room with no WiFi (as they had rooms with WiFi that were offered to us after complaining).
2. We came to this hotel thinking they have an in-house restaurant and my dad doesn't have to drive again to find food (he is 65 and we are on a road trip for a month).
Were told restaurant is closed and they'll arrange food i.e. get food from KFC opposite to the hotel! Did they really think KFC replaces their lack of in house restaurant?!
3. The whole hotel is dingy. Holes in the ceiling, painting work going on. Hotel looks more like an abandoned place.
4. Cockroaches in the room having a party. Yuck.
5. Floors, walls, vanity - everything was dirty as hell. I don't think this room was cleaned even once in its lifetime!
6. Power cuts
7. Service was horrible! You ask for a glass or a plate, they'll get it to you after you're done with your meal.
8. No hot water, the light in the bathroom was as bright as of a wick lamp! Couldn't see anything!!

We paid 2K for a night and this room doesn't even deserve a single rupee. We have stayed at even cheaper hotels than this and had a fabulous stay.

Shame on you for scamming people and not showing them the true state of your hotel. Don't believe their pictures and details!! Don't stay with them!

I wish I could give minus rating to this hotel. The hotel staff robbed our luggage when we were not in the room. When we asked them about the same they said it was done by monkeys. They have no responsibility and no respect for the guests. Their management is abusive verbally..when we sked them about CCTV footage they were not even ready to show the footage. All they care about is money. Don't ever get into this hotel. It's the worst

Hotel is good but staff are careless.
My stay was for one day, they didn't give the rooms key saying problem with server. Breakfast was really horrible, they just bought some idlis, vada and one dosa from outside and served really bad. Hot water will come only in the morning 7.00 AM to 9.00AM. Tv is not working, they dont have common sense to give remote even after reminding over phone. Overall its ok but price is more for these kind of service.

It was built great. May be the maintenance and recent condition is not much grand. There was little stinky suffocating inside due to the walls that absorbed water. The room size, washroom size amenities in and around are very decent. There is no freshness in the room at all. Over all its just or above average.
