Kanaipur Health Centre

The health center can give preliminary treatment then they always refers to big hospitals. The local villagers can get help for emergency preliminary treatment. But, it will do good not to bother for any critical condition. Not many doctors. Nurse are the only help.

It's a primary health centre. It's meant to deliver primary treatment to the villagers and not dealing with critical illnesses Where chances of death are high...There is a scarcity of doctors..As in everywhere in west bengal...But still it's opd is functional,many patients are dealt with by doctors...And there are some beds in in-patients dpt too...You can't expect more from a PHC in present scenario.

Poor infrastructure.
But they handle first aid on Emergency and critical cases acording to their ability. People should prepare for being referred.
No government fair price shop available here.
Very busy Health centre, covering a large area. OT, outdoor unit, eye(on selected dates in a week), Anwesha, Homeopathy, Laboratory units available, Child Birth also done here.
Public transport & private AMBULANCE available.
Blood test done here for free of Malaria, Dengue(Govt. order).

Be prepared to face harrasment for "VIP treatment" of selective people.

Most third class hospital and pathetic experience... Staff behavior is worst.... My mother admitted in this hospital and my father was alone at home,, I requested several times to everyone that I would cook for father to be allowed to go but they ignored.... I also told that dad is alone and he can't eat until I go but the staff didn't let me go either... I'm very much disappointed

It's pathetic.I will share my experience.
Usually they provide vaccination on Monday and Friday and sometimes on Wednesday evening (probably for the people they know not for general public)as well.
I would highly recommend not to go to this center in any circumstances as you can get Covid easily standing in queue overnight. They don't have any system or regulation to follow and they are unorganised as hell. I have seen covid patients in queue next to vaccination queue and no one is there to instruct where they need to go. Everyone was scattered here and there making it a breeding ground for Covid. Please avoid this Health Center.
