Facilities available are not in proportion to the patient visiting. Too lengthy ques that is for senior citizen, not acceptable. You have to give one full day , if planning to visit.

Even , I don't want to give 1 star bcoz the civil staff working in ECHS polyclinic are 3rd grade they don't properly behave with the senior citizen (Rtd. Army personnel) they have very rude behaviour with every person , No facility of medecine , from last 1 - 2 years they always say that MEDECINE IS NOT AVAILABLE many of the patient are coming from nearby district for which they have to face too much problem regarding medecine.
Poor facility , poor staff behaviour (civilians).

Firstly,doctors appointed is just like statue and not serious about patient sickness,secondly whatever medicine prescribed by doctor atleast 30% medicine not issued to patient due non availability of medicine.on enquiry about availability of medicine day or time ,staff replying rudely saying that they have not been issued medicine and they can't bring it from their home and that is non of their business. I believe if the few medicine not available since last four month means it is really pathetic condition of Echs and one can assume that Echs facilities is just eye wash instead of providing med.facilities.

ECHS stand for Ex Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme, is a polyclinic in varanasi cantonment. As the name suggests, it serves retired defence personnel. It has well equipped small pathological lab, X ray machine, dispensary etc. It also has referral facility to other hospitals in varanasi.

The staff working here is unsupportive. They don't let you choose a hospital of your choice , but instead force you to go to the Military Hospital. The server seems not to be working but no-one seems to care about the people waiting here in line.
