Famous landmark for greams road is Apollo hospital, the biggest and the best chain of hospitals in India.

Facilities and technology are at its peak here. More than native people of this state we only find the majority of migrant patients pan India and other countries.

But it is highly advisable to visit this place with proper insurance for big and complicated treatments, else you may witness your pockets burning Asap.

⚠️ important note⚠️: cash payment upto 2lakh INR only is accepted and beyond which only bank transfers they take in, which is as per Indian income tax norms.

Worst place for treatment. Set of unprofessional gathered together starting from valet parking (made me go round and round twice), main reception guy (his actions and his speed of work gave me a good hint of this unprofessional place), then the doctor’s secretaries are league apart. Despite taking an appointment on call I was told that doctor will have lunch now and this is at 1250 hr. Then one doctor referring to another to mint money. Full body check up and blood tests are like mandatory aspects for any treatment and even if they are why any doctor (if they are) can prescribe those tests and do away with need to pay another set of Rs 1500 for want of prescription from another doctor. Had a really bad day at the hospital, there is no human touch. I think even robots will do a better job, at least they will make your hard earned money count. Doctor’s secretaries are clueless in even explaining the procedure. More interested in accounting money than suggesting the course of action. I pity on the quality checks if there exist any and the poor services (even the lift takes like eternity to reach your floor) been provided and accepted by the patients/ their relatives. Really bad experience and I am never gonna suggest Apollo medical facilities to anyone. I paid today Rs 2150/- and that to without any medicine prescriptions ; time wasted not accounted in this. Overall worst facility and waste of time and effort.

If you want to meet a Doctor of any specialisation Apollo Hospital GREAMS ROAD is the perfect choice.
Emergency unit team also does their service to the maximum extent. Doctors are available on phones whenever necessary which makes the patient to stay positive.
Overall the hospital is always crowded with Out-Patients and there is a big queue for MRI Scans, X-rays etc.,
For Best doctors in town I would highly recommend this place. Getting admission is also tough nowadays.

Apollo Hospital Chennai is good for different kind of treatment. I went there for my mother treatment, we found two good doctors Prof. Dr. R Narasimahn, Dept. of Respiratory Medicine and Dr. B Subba Rao, dept. of Nephrology, they treated us so well that my mother felt good. But we faced a problem with orthopedics doctor(Dr A Navaladi Shankar), who treated my mother too badly that my mother leg infected and had to do operation when back to Dhaka. We tried communicated with Dr A Navaladi Shankar several times but he didn't response, so be careful about this doctor. Except this orthopedics doctor everything is good for me in this hospital. You also find a canteen for having snacks. They have 2 type of wheelchair , for those couldnt walk or too sick and those legs are broken or fractured who have to Straight their leg. Transport (auto rickshaw) available in the gate of the hospital.

Great experience. We went from Assam for my father's health checkup. They have different different health checkup packages. Whole body checkup costs ₹13000. After checkup they will tell you to visit a specific doctor. We met best nephrologist Dr. S Vanketesh Rajkumar there. He was so polite and extremely awesome doctor we had ever met in our life. We were extremely satisfied with his treatment and gesture. If you want to do health checkup visit one day earlier and pay the amount and next day you should go at 6 in the morning to stand in queue. It will take whole day for health heckup to be done. A lot of Bengali people come in to this hospital. You can get many lodge near by ( Bengali bazar or sabzi market)
