Nankem Hospital

Nankem hospital is one of the best hospital I have ever experienced till now. It was a nightmare for me as a tourist when I admitted my wife for leg bone surgery because of an unexpected accident. I was totally blank because I was 900km away from home, in an unknown place, but surprisingly, after that, everything went smoothly.

Hospital doctors, nurses, caregivers, hospital administration, pharmacy, all are very kind and helpful. The insurance department did a great job. Because of their efforts, we were able to return to our hometown within 4 days, even after the surgery.

Special thanks to Dr. Jagjivanram Sir, night nurse Bano, physiotherapist Dr Nivedha, and insurance staff member Mr. Manoj. All the other staff who helped me in this crucial time.

Dr. Anusuya Chandrasekar is one of the most experienced gynecologist & obstetrician. She is simple, friendly and treats everyone with humanity. She Took good care during my ANC. One good hospital with good features in coonoor. 24 hours hospital with emergency care as well. No good canteen!! Nurses are also friendly and caring.

I would like to thank Dr. Vivek, for performing a wonderful surgery on the palm of my dad(repair of common digital nerve +sural nerve graft). His indebt explanation was excellent. During surgery he kept my dad posted on every step of what he was doing. Thanks to the entire administration who took care of my dad, from doctors to nurses. The room was excellent. The paper work from admission to final bill payment was expedited meticulously.

If the hospital has improved over the years well and good ..if not we kindly recommend pregnant women to go to Parvathy hospital ooty for sure shot normal delivery. Though the hospital doesn't seem to look great..you can assure you and child are safe.

Had very bad experience for my son who was 1 and half years in the year 2012..the hospital staff were under qualified. The in-house Dr who did the night shifts didn't know how to treat my child. Thank fully one of the Dr whom they hired asked us to rush the baby to coimbatore as he was entering life threatening situation. And from there we came to chennai Apollo and thankGod our child was saved.

The best hospital in Nilgiris. Such talented Doctors and great infrastructure. The admin staffs are so supportive. Insurance coverage was done with out any delay.

Nankem offers very personalized care. Dr. Vivek and Mr. Mohan Raj between them ensure this. Dr. Sreedhar's consultation has been invaluable and with this team we feel we are more than well taken care of.

Very bad experience
I had my delivery in Nankem hospital. Doctor doesn't give proper counselling. Nurses are less skilled.

If there is no complication in pregnancy they can deliver baby safely which your grandmother can do at home. They cannot handle if there is any complication during labor. You might lose your baby. They are very careless.

When labor is not treated properly baby could deprive of oxygen which can lead to brain damage to baby. Nurse are least bothered. My son is deprived of oxygen and is undergoing therapy as there is developmental delay.

Never opt this hospital seeing google review as I did.

Very very worst experience

I request hospital management to provide "contraction monitoring belt " to nurse who are in labor ward. This would help delivering baby in right time safely.

Wonderful experience....I had delivered my baby girl in Nankem few days back.Dr.Anusuya Chandrashekar is such a amazing Dr who made my delivery easily. In Nankem in the middle of the night and the staffs and Dr's were so supportive from that time.Even during the time of delivery they encouraged me so well and supported me to deliver my baby so easily even though it was quite tough situation...I am so thanked to the whole team of Nankem for the helpful gesture they showed towards me especially Mohan sir,Raji sister,Bhanu sister,Kiruba sister, Anandhi sister and Archana sister
