I underwent very worst treatment by DR.Shanthi. I had a partial placenta previa from the month of 3rd itself. She gave a treatment for that and said mostly it will become normal at the month of 5. She asked me to take a complete bed rest. I followed that. I had a pain in my back and urinary tract at 4 nd half month. So immediately I went to hospital. She haven't taken any scan but she said it might be a urinary infection. I trust her word & followed the medicines she provided. But pain got severe at night time. Even that time also I thought it's due to urinary infection. So i planned to wait fr some more time. By morning pain severely increased. I called her clinic . They asked us to take scan outside as that day way Sunday. So we went to senthil scan and took scan around 11 AM since that day is Sunday. In the scan report they said baby health is good. But it seems placenta is seperating so asked to take treatment immediately. We informed to hospital about the emergency and we immediately reached to barani hospital but doctor was not there. They asked us to wait for some more time. I waited for long time along with heavy pain. Due to heavy pain I went to reception and scold heavily. Then only they were informing the doctor about my critical condition. It was around 1Pm nurse sent photocopy of my scan report to doctor over WhatsApp. she said to admit me in hospital as I am in critical condition.
Before the arrival of doctor, placenta came out. As I don't know that was placenta that cameout 1st, i asked to nurse, but they also don't aware about that nd haven't taken any precautionary measures. After 15min doctor came and she did DNC. It was very worst tragedy i underwent. Nearly I had 13hrs of labour pain because of her wrong treatment. She didn't even touch my abdomen throughout the treatment. Very worst treatment she handled. I would suggest everyone not to go to Barani hospital. I lost my very precious my 1st baby due to her wrong treatment.

No proper patients care...staffs are rude ,gossiping all the time..
No cleaniless..money minded people..they charge u bulk as soon as u enter the hospital ,then give bills which won't tally..
Please prefer some other hospital in Thanjavur.

Dr.Shanthi mam was such a wonderful & frndly character❤️ her treatment & way of handle all the people was too good & caring. Hospital is neat & clean

I admitted my wife in this hospital, Dr.Shanthi who has been giving good treatment in all the way. According to my knowledge, she is good to us. Better visit other hospital and expenses, and drop the review here.

Really really very good care and diagnise problems very well. Dr.shanthi Mam, very nice person and not money minded...she is not insist to do scan, x Rays and other unwanted things and not wrote too much of tablets like other doctors. Her fee also reasonable not much....

Not at all everything comments below is true.. every staff and house keeping women's are soft and caring.. i m in the 9 month of pregnant.. doctor care every step very caring and careful .. she treated and giving treatment like everyone as her family member..not on money minded comparing other gynecologist she is one of the experienced doctor
and simplicity lady.. don't curse any doctors ..some doctors may like but not everyone...
