I walked into this hospital today with severe food poisoning and possibly a liver infection as well. The front desk was unhelpful so I asked them where the emergency room was. I entered the ER and assumed it was closed because there was no one in there. Some men emerged from an office where they were watching TV and escorted me to a bed and assured me a doctor would come. A manager arrived who made me feel ashamed for coming to the hospital and continuously interrupted me as I tried to explain to her my symptoms and then accused me of not taking the right medicines or eating the right foods before even allowing me to finish speaking and knowing what I have. An actual doctor came in and gave me an IV and decided all I had was food poisoning. Then the female manager returned and would only speak to my boyfriend about the treatment and billing instead of me. I confronted her about this telling her that I was taking care of my own bill and that I would like to know what was going to happen to me and that she should speak directly to me. She was enraged by this and began yelling at me. I asked for her name and a business card but she refused to give it to me. Then, when my boyfriend went to try and get a bill to see what they were charging us for, he was informed that this privately owned hospital does not accept international credit cards and was forced to pay in cash.

This hospital was one of the most unprofessional hospitals I have ever been to. While the facilities seem state of the art, the staff are rude and dismissive and there is no sympathy or kindness for patients. A truly disappointing experience.

For those searching for Apollo hospital in Amritsar, the location is incorrect. There's no hospital (also no cab availability) at the location mentioned on Google.
I am not sure why the hospital folks are not updating the location as this is causing of lot of inconvenience to people who trust Google.

Worst experience ever. I went for a health checkup. Doctors/Attendants are super rude, Really mismanaged, Had to waste all day waiting. No doctors were available as per the appointment. Could not have been worse.
