Kolekar Multispecialty Hospital & ICCU

My brother tested COVID positive and was admitted to Kolekar Hospital recently. After completion of his medication he has been discharged and doing well, slowly recovering from weakness n fatigue.

For us, it has been a wonderful experience with Kolekar Hospital. They were prompt, cooperative, friendly & thoroughly professional. The RMOs / Nurses / housekeeping staff and other supporting admin members were very helpful & we express sincere gratitude for their service rendered to mankind. They have been doing well in treating COVID patients & we feel more number of beds (if added by Management) will do good to larger audiences. Treatment wise there's no complaints and they know their job well. The doctors will listen to concerns and suggest accordingly.

However, there are certain minor functional/operational issues which the management needs to address - basic hygiene should be maintained in the ward (atleast by allotting bins for disposable cottons etc). At times housekeeping staffs are no where to be seen, leaving the sisters/nurses in complete mess. They won't proactively come and change your gown unless you ask for. The bedsheet doesn't get changed unless you ask for. They serve good food though :)

Worst Hospital. ICU stinks. Dr is not experienced. He just know to experiment on patients body. Not able to conclude the root cause of health issue. Money minded hospital. Will make patient stay in ICU for days. Patients gets infected, will not recover.

If patient is dying too not recovering they will see to patients stay for more 7-10 days in ICU , they will make money. Will play with your emotions. Patients family will give up. Say no to ventilator because spent 12 -15 lacs above in treatment , patient is not recovering. Kidney failure, liver issue n lungs issue all due to wrong medication ( non of antibiotics working on patient their response).

They will see to it BP does not drop. If it drops they give medicine to increase BP. That way heart beat is beating. This way they will extend hospital stay and make money. You get dead body in return.
Please don't come to this hospital.

God sake. Here they are doing business. Least interested to save patient. They only have degree for namesake, no proper practical n experience knowledge in treatment.

This is my first experience with Kolekar Hospital and i can't wait myself to write a review about the Hospital. The facilities are very good related to Pathology, Pharmacy, Cleanliness & Staff services. All staff is very concern about the patients and their needs. The Hospital is well maintained . I specially want to thank to Dr. Arvind Kolekar for treating me very well as my case was little complicated.

Keeps patient waiting for 8 hours after doctor recommended .

Very slow process and lame excuses.

Nurses are slow, resident doctors look non interested.

Rooms are very small. One dining table to be shared among two patients.

We were billed for 3 days, despite staying for 2 days, when asked no clear explanation given.

Had my doctor not recommended this, i would never suggest this hospital.

They also take 10k deposit for 45 days even after mediclaim is approved.

Cheating the patient first they are informing the patient all the expenses will cleared by insurance claim after few hours later there answer is insurance had declined your claim so you have to pay cash and for a day for normal fewer they have charged me 20 k and yet they are unable the main root cause for the fewer

This is my first experience with Kolekar multispecility hospital and i am fortunate that i choose this hospital for surgery. Main thing i found about this hospital is Doctor & subordinate staff which concerns about your health you get good tratment. Hygiene and cooperation from staff is very good. overall experience was excellent

Third class Management process.
They don't care about patients recovery but they care about to knowing us our patients daily charges.
Lotus is like lootera....
If we required one Tablet then they will give is one bucket of tables.

And if we return one bucket of tablets then they said we can't give you money against these tables will settlement at discharge time.

My experience with the staff and doctors of Kolekar Hospital was excellent.
Hospital was very pleasing. The staff is very supportive and guiding. I really appreciate there good understanding and caring ability.
