Government hospital, renovating and making steps for improvement of health care services that are supposed to be at the lowest cost.

The hospital is connected to the Government Medical College named after Gandhi ji. The students of the college are privileged to take part in the research, training and development opportunities available as a 24-hour facility to them. They observe and get trained under the able guidance of the very senior government certified doctors already conducting most of the treatments meticulously.

These sections were being managed in a very small conjusted area and the huge number of patients visiting daily had been multiplying. To be able to cater to the majority of basic medical requirements to people, the cost of treatment has been maintained very nominal by the government. This has increased the possibility of more patients walking in and reduced the cleanliness and accuracy of the tests and treatments, maintenance of the infrastructure and proper guidelines.

New construction has been initiated for more than a year now to expand and spread the different sections appropriately, to try and improve the regulation of services and guidelines, to provide better and better facilities like the new lifts, and wheelchairs for the disabled. The parking has been designed and developed to help more number of vehicles move in and out easily.

The management has suddenly got into action in order to improve the regulations and facilities but not yet to the benchmark. Though the people of Bhopal and surrounding locations still have a chance to make a positive notion of the improvement.

It's a government run hospital. This is how Wikipedia define this hospital.

"Hamidia Hospital is a multispeciality tertiary care teaching hospital in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was earlier known as Prince of Wales King Edwards Memorial Hospital for Men. It is affiliated to Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, in the capital of Madhya Pradesh."

It's a Central hospital serving the whole Madhya Pradesh.

Doctor to patient ratio is real low, medicines are not available, doctors are living a stressful life, as they can diagnose the disease but can't cure it due to lack of medicines.

In general OPD you'll find long queues.

One of the oldest government Hospital of Bhopal. Spread in a large area. Having so many sections for better treatment. Parking Charges are 10rs for every Hr which is the only bad thing in my opinion.. there are so many guards at every possible section they can guide you about the right way you are looking for. 👍

The doctors are fine but the behavior of the guards here is very bad. Patients admitted to Hamidia Hospital are harassed a lot. There is no peace at night at all. Men also stay in the women's ward and stay at night. And the guards talk, use mobiles, laugh and joke. Due to which all the patients get upset. They come in the morning and shout loudly. At any time in the night the broom starts and there is noise. The admitted patient faces a lot of trouble, there is no atmosphere of peace here.
