Railway Hospital Jabalpur

One of the oldest govt. Hospital for Railway serving and retired petsonal health care.Now has been elevated to zonal hospital. A new building is crowning the facility with modern equipment and neat and clean look.People come from far and nearby area to take the health care for themselves and their family members.

I went there to get examined by a skin specialist on 08 March 2018 which was Thursday but the person at the counter told me that the Skin Specialist visits the hospital only on Wednesdays and Fridays. So my visit went in vein that day
But otherwise the hospital provides with with many other specialist doctors on regular basis. First you have to go and show your railway medical card and get the appointment number for the doctor you want to consult.
It has a separate emergency department building. It has wheelchair accessible entrance.
It has vehicle paid parking area. It has big garden like place to sit and wait if you have to. It has all the required facilities

Good Hospital for Railway employees, but the efficiency of the management is not good.

No system of management at all! They call us at 9:00Am and the doctor comes at 12:50 and also waiting for long hours the doctor gave no good medicine.What a shame. Thank casuality who atleast gives emergency help. Very bad experience

It's a great hospital ,where hygiene is kept at priority ,the management is good ,there are several drawbacks but still you can make out your work here .You might feel unpleasant because of crowd so wear a mask and try to reach there as early ! Because no doctor or staff provide helpline numbers ..

Very bad experience jabalpur railway hospital my dad sick they need surgery referred to Chennai Perambur hospital but no surgery there no doctors available
